OK, last night my wife and I went to the local Barnes & Noble book store. My wife btw loves my fetish and is a very wiling lee. We sat in the section where the big, comfy lounge chairs are. Sitting next to me was a rather chunky young woman in her 30's let's say. She was wearing sandals and it was very evident that she had just gotten a pedicure. Her toenails were painted shiny purple and she kept wiggling and spreading her toes in her flip flops. I couldn't concentrate on my book as I just kept staring at the foot tease she was unknowingly giving me. Then to my surprise, she finally slipped off her sandals and brought her bare feet up to the edge of the chair and started wiggling and spreading her toes again directly at me. Her soles were so pink and flawless from her pedi and looked so deliciously soft. I sat there drooling for 2 hours pretending to read a book while this chick was giving me a killer foot tease that she was completely unaware of (or was she?). When it got time to leave, I let my wife go ahead of me as I was going to give her a playful tickle on her soles as I was leaving but I thought better of it. Probably not a good idea since my wife was with me anyway, but I seriously considered it.

Has this ever happened to anyone else and has anyone actually had the balls to give a quick tickle to a total stranger who was giving a relentless foot tease whether innocent or knowingly?

.... yeah that's a great way to get punched in the face. just because you declare someone a "tease" doesnt give you the right to touch someone you dont know.... and yes i'm aware that not everyone agrees- but yeah i'd punch you in the face if you touched me and i didnt know you.

Have you ever seen someone from behind and temporarily mistaken then for someone you knew? Everyone has.

I've many times wondered what would happen if I came up behind an attractive stranger who was wearing a T-shirt or something similar, gave her the two index fingers in each side right above the hips, and then watched to see if she'd jerk and yelp. Then, once she turned around to see who I was, (whether she was ticklish or not), I'd apologize, say I thought she was someone else and act embarrassed, i.e. a case of mistaken identity. Since I was coming from behind, it would make sense that I hadn't seen her face.

Seems to me, it would be the perfect caper. If the girl liked it, her reaction afterward would make it obvious, and the experiment would easily lead to a fun conversation and maybe even a phone number. If she didn't like it, she would still be inclined to believe the mistaken identity explanation, because it's actually a more likely and truly more plausible explanation than someone having the audacity to tickle a total stranger. Maybe it would also require a decent acting performance on my part afterward, but I happen to think almost any girl would believe that I accidentally mistook her for someone I knew, and for that reason, give me a free pass on it.

I've never tried it though. Maybe someday. :) Would it work?

Just preparing the OP for the inevitable. You will be called creepy. You will have posts saying how you would be physically confronted, and not in a good way. You will be told that if you do that, you will have charges pressed against you and may go to jail for "assault".

Just want to prepare you for the responses you will get about this topic...It always happens...

You may have this fantasy, a lot of us do, but when putting it out here on this forum will open you up to criticism. Because people will say it is just a fantasy and NEVER do it in reality.

I never have with a total stranger but definitely someone I was talking to for only a couple minutes. I guess at that point you kind of know them :p. She may have very well been intentionally giving you a tease, and she may have very well been completely unaware. The actual odds are hard to say, especially since no one but you were there to get a feel for the entire situation. Her reaction may have also been anything. I think if someone punched you, as said above, it would be really irrational, but she definitely would have the right to be a upset.

As a long time tickler of strangers, I can tell you that every situation is unique, and if there's one thing I've learned is that you have to trust your instincts. If they raise a red flag, then heeding that warning is by no means "chickening out."

My advice is to ignore the hypocrisy that's already crept into this thread. Keep your eyes open for opportunity. Your moment will come.

It seems to me your response to this, ticklemepls, is very much predicated on your knowing that the stranger in question is – or would be – perpetrating this act purely for a cheap sexual thrill – without your consent, as it were. But of course the female in this scenario is not privy to this information. Don't get me wrong, I too think it would have been inappropriate for the OP to have done what he was thinking about doing... But it is not all that difficult to imagine a stranger, be they male, female, young, old doing such a thing just for the hell of it – out of playfulness, maybe in a ‘what do you think you’re playing at, waving your bare feet around in a book shop’ sort of way. Do they all, in your book, get the fist in the face treatment? I find this very difficult to believe. I mean, there are different degrees of seriousness where this stuff goes. If that's how you react to a quick foot tickle, what happens when a stranger pinches yer ass? Presumably a knife or baseball bat would be in order, yes? :p

If you're young and good-looking, quite possibly. Otherwise, probably not!

Indeed!

In fact, I just now took a quick look at such a one - to make sure I'd been consistent in my views on this topic. As well as being a contentious subject, it's also a bloody great minefield of potential hypocrisies lol. So to put my mind at ease, I will summarize my own views on the matter. The principle of touching a stranger in a way that you suspect may be inappropriate is unethical and therefore deserving of condemnation. But there are small offences and there are big offences where these things go, and one cannot justify an extreme reaction to a relatively small offence. Yes, I think that's it. :ermm:

I shall now sit back and see if we get any fireworks.

No "Fireworks".. It's just something I wouldn't do. It isn't worth the risk. Tickling a complete stranger.. is similar to walking up to a girl you see. in a park.. who is barefoot, and leaning down to kiss her feet. Or.. is also similar to.. going up to a complete stranger and kissing them.

Others can do what they want..but.. I'd have to know the woman in question.. as a casual acquaintance at least, first date, etc, before trying a tickle.. Otherwise, no.

Wrong you might think I'm joking but I in NO WAY appreciate random people I do not know touching me - EVER. Just because you "feel the urge" doesn't give YOU the right to touch MY body without my consent. You're right, I take that back I wouldnt have to do a damn thing because my husband would.

Im jut curious where you find the hypocrisy in this? Just because someone doesnt agree with what you think that makes the thread have hypocrisy? Seriously? There's nothing hypocritical about saying it's wrong to put your hands on a stranger - pretty sure those of us that say it's a bad idea WOULDNT touch a stranger- thus it's not hypocritical .... So therefore, I'm having trouble understanding your claim- and I'm sure I'll regret this- but please explain.

Some women may show cleavage. It may, in part be, be because they want to attract attention or flirt. It does not know mean that they welcome everybody to grab their tits. And if we men don't understand that they will all start wearing burka or something and that would be sooo boring, for all of us

Please be reminded that I was THINKING of doing it but I had enough common sense and self control NOT to especially in the presence of my wife who is also a tickle fanatic. But this chick was really flamboyant with her foot tease and if I did have the balls to do it, no doubt she would have been startled, but I'll put money on it that I have a gut feeling that she would have looked back at me with a smile as I walked away.

I can say that to some degree it depends on the culture.
I noticed this after I was traveling to the East and West of Russia.
The difference between the western and eastern cultures is that for example in China people may stare at you openly, make comments, discuss your look. While in London, England I was amazed at the difference.. well, actually comparative indifference to each other that people show on the streets. People there don't even look at each other. And in some cultures it's even bad manner to look in the eyes (such as in Paris, France. If you saw that film "Paris, je t'aime").

I would say if that situation you described took place in Eastern Russia, the woman probably wouldn't have escaped a quick tickle.

She was probably just putting her feet up. Tickle fetish is not exactly a mainstream thing. She wasn't like, honking her boobs at you. Most people would actually consider a stranger putting their feet up right next to them a little rude. They aren't always seen as the most attractive body part. Just be careful when you think someone is sending you "Foot Tease" signals, because you could end up horrifically wrong.

And this topic always turns into a shit show, so excuse me while I go do some deep breathing or something and try not to say dumb things.

I'm not into feet at all, most of them are kinda gross looking. If that happened to me, I would have walked away.

Keep your hands to yourself people.

Lol, I could only imagine this happening, and the dude that disrespected you, turned out to be someone that was damned good at fighting. Imagine that, you or your husband try to punch someone in the face, and you end up getting your arm broken because of it.

ugh oh my gosh reading this makes me so mad
you CAN'T touch people like that without their consent. end of. like, that's it. whatever, fantasize about it, keep it to yourself, but don't glorify it like "ooh what if" because that makes it seem like it's an okay thing to do and that's just not cool at all.

Let me take the thread in a different direction than all the other "tickling strangers" threads:

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE TICKLED STRANGERS, How did it go?

Ok so apparently you stand in the crowd of to scared to stand up for yourself because something bad might happen. Broken arm for standing up for yourself or someone else seems worth it to me if the person is in the wrong. Hope your family and friends can run fast since you wont.

What the hell is going on here??

Welcome to this topic. It pops up every few months, we all argue for several pages, then it passes and we go back to relative peace until it happens again. I'll sum it up, usually most people say "That's gross" and a few people say "No it's not", and there's a big argument.

Too late, knicks...
dammit foiled again
