I've had luck just getting friends who want to "try out my weird little side project". My stuff is strictly non-profit though, barring donations, so I'm not sure if I personally could be cool with selling material of friends who wanted to just do an afternoon of weird video fun. That's just me personally though.

In my opinion it's the last thing you should do. Blurred faces in videos looks stupid and unattractive. It's better to use masks or blindfolds. And it's much easier than blurring faces afterwards.

I think Smeg was referring to blurring the face of the 'ler rather than the 'lee, which I favour over wearing a mask - despite it creating extra post-production work. It's just a whole lot less distracting than having someone dressed as a clown or a burglar IMO.

...and yes it is a little painstaking, though not difficult. I use pixelation rather than blurring because I find it looks less 'eerie', but the basic approach is the same, and it's pretty much the same whichever editor you are using (as in the link posted above - layer masks, automation etc) N.b. free editing software (e.g. Movie Maker, iMovie) won't enable you to do this kind of thing.

It's just my humble opinion. The best way then is not to show your face, not to turn it to camera. Blurred 'ler faces are in fact more distracting to me. It's like watching some criminal news or what? :) Even a clown distracts me less as I don't have phobia of clowns fortunately.
 
Don't forget that as important as the technical aspect is, which is important if you want memorable clips, the NUMBER ONE THING will always be THE MODEL.

That's why I will never look at the various companies as "the big guys," or "the little guys." Many "big guys" use the same "professional" models who ...dammit they're fakers!

Some "little guys" I consider in the big leagues because they have fantastic girls being tickled.

You certainly don't have to worry about getting "professional" modes, and feeling bad if you have to use the "girl next door."

Is she ticklish?

Does she have a pretty laugh?

Is she into it and enjoying it?

They DO have many actual professional models who Turtleboy uses, and the Czech site uses, who are legitimately ticklish, and they also use some amateur girls
who are fantastic.

That's actually a HUGE advantage of trying to start a tickling company - it all depends on if the girl is ticklish. You don't need to worry about hiring someone
expensive, because the expensive model may absolutely suck, and your fun loving friend may be the next tickle legend.

Look at Simply Tickling - is Savannah a "professional" model?
I have no clue, but boy do I get excited when she has a new clip coming out! If she's in sheer toe pantyhose, it's like Christmas!
He also recently starting using Kalesie - another blockbuster. If she has a nylon clip coming out, I'm buying it!

It's like anything in capitalism - if you can make something that people can't live without, you'll be a success.

I remember when my favorite clip of all time, Avril from Czech Tickling wrapped up and tickled on her pantyhose feet came out. I used the Gizmo card
at the time to get it....and I was checking my balance every day, multiple times a day until my payment went through!
Best clip I've ever bought.

If you can create that level of excitement with any of your models, then you will have a fan base.

Your technical aspects will get better, and luckily, you can practice all that out before you start shooting with actual models.
Create your set up, then play around with the lights and sound, shoot at full detail, than practice rendering until you get the crystal clearest video.

Keep in mind "bigger names" travel a lot, and actively seek out fetish producers to work with. You'll see a shitload of Bella Ink videos coming up soon, because she happens to be traveling atm. I know because she contacted me and we were actually set to shoot before work didn't cooperate.

Pros aren't nearly as expensive as most of you think either, for what it's worth. There's a reason so many familiar faces bounce between every producer.

It's not quite the same here in the UK...we don't really have a big fetish model 'scene' as you do in the US. I find models from all over, and I find that the lack of pure fetish models actually helps me to discover newer faces. The models that are more familiar tend to be known for more general glamour/TV presenting work, or for more vanilla adult stuff.

I think Smeg is actually looking do F/M stuff. For what it's worth, there are plenty of male models here in the UK who'll do it as I get contacted by them from time to time but as with any other modelling job, they will expect an hourly rate, a minimum number of hours and travel costs covered. If you're doing it on no budget, the best way is to try and rope some friends in as 'lees to start with - or get some guys from here :)

It depends. I used to do it manually and it was a pain in the ass. You'd need software that allows you to overlay an effect onto your footage and you'd have to move it every time the subject moved.

Now, I use HitFilm Pro, which makes it infinitely easier. It has a tracking feature, so you literally tell the software "track my nose for this shot", then assign the blur/pixelated effect to the resulting point. The blur moves with your face perfectly.

As for masks? I can recall multiple heated discussions on this forum where pretty much everyone agreed that masks are stupid and creepy. Now that I can do solid, accurate blurs I'll never use a mask again.

True, but the difference is usually enough that smaller studios won't be using them. In my experience, a fetish pro runs about $200-300. For a studio that makes maybe $50 a month, that's a pointless expense when you can get girls off of Craigslist for a fraction of that. So far, Mya's the only model who's brought me any kind of "name brand" draw from her existing fans, and it hasn't been much.

After Effects makes it decently easy, you can motion track a prominent feature on the face and use that to apply a blur mask even while the face moves.
 
I have a very good friend that is making 5-6k in profit every month and does this as his full time job.

Don't let anyone tell you that videos don't make money.
Some do and some don't.

Thank you again to the tickle community for all of your responses and advice.
The time is here! We shoot this Friday.

The model is genuinely very ticklish, petite and super cute. She is actually a lil too ticklish and I think we are going have to start and stop many times...any thoughts on how to handle someone who cannot stand tickles for more than a min or two?

I have a male friend who is also extremely ticklish. The model I hired does great tickle talk and can tickle my male friend for another set of clips....thoughts?
