Publisher's Note:

“Secret Agent Sonya” first appeared in “Tales from the Asylum” magazine, Issue 13, November, 2000. She would appear again in TFTA 14, 18, and make a special guest appearance in the first official print “Yenny Comic.” She also would star in her very own e-comic entitled “Sonya’s Torment.”

Sonya was a instant hit with the Yenny fan base and despite or perhaps due to her short time in the spotlight she has become an icon in her own right.

When Ozzy came to me with the idea of bringing “Secret Agent Sonya” back to MTJ Publishing it was a very welcome surprise and one that I knew would please her legion of fans. However, a new artist would be selected to create her new and continuing adventures and that artist (hand picked by Ozzy himself) would be the one and only Bandito. Furthermore Ozzy would be adding a two page Sonya short to the first issue as well. Needless to say I was overjoyed.

So you have Bandito (creative, witty, gifted writer and artist), his partner in crime the lovely White Lotus (equally creative, witty and amazingly talented colorist) and the legendary “Ozzy." A virtual dream team….

This comic is going to blow you away! Count on it.

Just a quick note to say a HUGE thank you to Jim at MTJ, to the amazing Ozzy, to the fantastic Lotus...and to all you spies and spyettes out there.

I never thought when I first started posting tickle art on this forum that I would have a chance to work on something like this.

Thank you all for all your support, encouragement, and feedback.

Now stop reading,

And go get your spy on. 😛

oh my god, it was SOOOO worth the wait.

The artwork is fantastic, the extra pages from Ozzy

😵

The scene of desperation was one that i have always wanted to see.

There was just one problem...

It ended!

I would like/NEED more!

But thank you Bandito, White Lotus, Ozzy and MTJ for bring one of my favourite characters back to my life!

To quote Oliver Twist "please sir, i want some more!"

meangry: Thanks my friend. I'll assume it was a compliment and not a rebuke. XD But hard to be sure. LMAO. Please let me know what you thought of it.

Marvin (lotsa numbers): Wow - thank you so much for the kind words, my friend. Which scene of desperation was the most exciting for you...was it the scene with Sonya, or the scene with the Bombadiers? And I take it all of this means you'd be interested in Sonya part 2: The Doomsday Button?

Thanks again everyone - for welcoming Sonya back:

The Deeto

This was just absolutely outstanding! It's been a long time since we've seen Sonia in action but it was totally worth the wait!

Bandito and White Lotus were clearly on absolutely top form for this...the artwork is outstanding. The story was funny (loved the dialogue!) and the tickling action was really playful and erotic...reminded me of Bounce of the Dragon which was also totally awesome 🙂 And I can't wait to see more of Agent Jamie Blonde!

And of course, always awesome to see new artwork from the master himself, Ozzy.

My only complaint was that it ended too soon, you fiends! Congratulations to all involved, this was awesome.

I think Deeto and MTJPUB work with the payroll department at my job or something cuz these releases come at an awfully convenient time.....now I gotta buy this.

MarkM16uk: Thanks so much for the support, and for the input! Lotus and I tried some different ideas with the art (and the truth is that I think all of the pin ups we did for the Bounce Chix Origins series really helped). And thanks also for noticing the dialog. Sonya was always so funny, and pithy...so I wanted to try and give this Comic some real humor.

Jaime was a ridiculously fun character to create. In fact, I kinda developed a serious crush on the little thing. So much so, that you'll be seeing a LOT more of her in Sonya #2 (and let's just say that she is unbearably ticklish, especially on her nylon covered feet).

Thanks again for the really generous feedback!

Rage: MUAAAAAAA HAAA HAAAAA! Between the tycoon and the sneaky spy - anything is possible. LMAO. Thanks for your support, my good friend. I hope you totally dig the comic. Please let us know!

Bye bye - spy guys,

The Dito

Bought my copy of course! Gotta support my bud! :woot:

Total awesomeness of course, total hotness :lover:

to answer Bandito's question to me, i LOVED them both. the Bombadiers was pretty hot. i loved eveything about this comic.

i can't wait for part 2 (YAY)

could i make a suggestion?

could there be a scene of desperation where sonya (or here partner) is hiding and being tickled? they need to stay silent or they will get discovered, that is something that i would love to see.

congratulation again and keep up the good work.

p.s. if you use my desperation scene, i will only charge you 10%, LOL!
(you know, as a friend)

Ticklefur: Thanks so much my friend. I'm so glad you liked it. It's easy to make it hot when Sonya is involved. ;-)

Marvin #'s: LOL. Thanks for the reply, amigo. So wait, though...the Bombadeer was your favorite, or the Sonya one was your favorite? Your suggestion is also very much appreciated. there will definitely be scenes of desperation in the second comic as well...and those will focus on Sonya and Jamie both (as they will be the primary characters tickled in the sequel - if people like this comic enough to make a sequel). Because a lot of the plot for Number 2 has already been written, I probably won't be able to use that exact scenario, but they'll definitely be fighting to resist the tickles...I can promise you that. Thanks again for your support, and great feedback.

Many thanks to all who've spent your hard earned cash, and I hope you've really enjoyed the comic.

The Spy-eeto

Alright, I bought this and have went through it a few times. Now for the whole feedbacking process.

I think that, in comparison to the TIS comics, the coloring is different (obviously), and while I do enjoy the dark palette of those comics, I feel like this is a return to what you did successfully. Color scheme plays a backdrop, and this one is actually different than the ones done for other comics of yours. It's like a slightly more harsh variant on the Bounce Chix, in that there are more static and neutral colors being used, and I believe subject matter has more to do with this than everything. What stands out are the mainline spy characters. Blonde moreso than Sonya. With the more green/brown backdrops, I think the actual attire of Sonya gets lost in some ways because she has so much skin showing that she damn near blends into the background as this fully formed statue piece. Not saying that is bad, but in some of the promo pics there was an offsetting and it really showcased the design of the character.

The dialogue was quite sparse for a release of yours as well. Speech bubbles acting the way they did with these very short, comedic statements bring yet another element of your work into play; camp. I could have rolled my eyes at the Jamie Blonde introduction because homages like that can be so passe, but I didn't. It is in all your work, and the reality is, you use it as a diffusing element, to show the audience that this isn't serious but instead fun. And this comic is, indeed, fun, even though there are bombs and terrorists and all that. I think that is what lacks in the medium; people who can actually engage the fetish in a fun manner regardless of subject material. This goes hand in hand with this universe, so I appreciate your ability to stamp your own seal on something without fundamentally changing the tone.

As for the art itself? I always say you get better and better, and with BCO, your actual artistic representation of your characters changed so completely that it blew my mind. With Sonya, I think you play upon your advancement, but I also believe that you actually draw a different way in this release. You aren't sitting there and drawing with the same manner you did with the pin ups. I think some of the crystallized details are sacrificed for fluidity, and to be honest, the two do not go hand in hand. That release was a story with pin up art, this is an actual comic. If artists actually want to know how to change up their artistic style for the given medium, this is one to look at. It's as if you are a pitcher, and while you can through extremely hard fastballs, you are showing that you have a nasty break on your curveball right here.

What sticks out to me the most are the Bombadeers. Scenes of desperation are good but require a solid context. Here? I found their saturation in the back half of this comic to be a blessing and something I disliked. First, the blessing; it's an odd character design that you pull off well. Now the dislike; the scene actually ended. Yeah, a cop out, I know, but that tickling action was so damn good that I was actually sad when they hit the water.

When the top of the one Bombadeer comes off, holy shit, things got rather heated and really intense. I am looking at it now and it is having that same lurid effect. The tone is different. Also, and I want to say this, their facial expressions are fucking amazing; the freneticism in which they laugh, in which they cork their faces, I mean, I don't think that can be undersold. Not only are they being tickled out of their minds, but you can SEE it in how frantic and wild they become. It's the eyes, it's the way the mouth and tongue appear, it all rolls together and with backdrops like breast and foot tickling...it sends everything into orbit.

Of course, I can talk to you more, but hey, if this is a taste of what you can do now, I might have to be a pestering little shit on that thing we talked about because holy hot damn this is great.

Thank you very much for the support, my friend (both verbal and monetary) and thanks also for spending all the time to share your thoughts. Very very much appreciated.

Yeah, you're right. The coloring went a different direction. Lotus was partly influenced by some new design elements (visa vie our non-stop Borderlands binges lately) and also wanted to try a combination of cell shading with her softer air brush shading the the skin.

And you're also right that Sonya's neutral outfit colors, mixed with her 99% nudity does have the effect of making her blend in on some panels.

The dialogue was quite sparse for a release of yours as well. Speech bubbles acting the way they did with these very short, comedic statements bring yet another element of your work into play; camp. I could have rolled my eyes at the Jamie Blonde introduction because homages like that can be so passe, but I didn't. Ha ha ha. The original script was much more verbose, but I found it ultimately seemed to be justifying itself or taking itself too seriously. Upon starting the project, it seemed to take on it's own minimalist sort of story line. Sonya's a secret agent with a ticklish outie. How pretentious can I get if I start treating her like Jason Bourne. LMAO.

And well...camp is a great way to put it. One of my favorite elements of Sonya's personality is her "you're so not funny" attitude toward the narrator. It makes it so much sexier when she's finally forced to laugh. So being campy also allows Sonya herself to roll her eyes...which totally cracks me up. I think Sonya finds jamie's name even campier than the rest of us. XD

As for the art itself? I always say you get better and better, and with BCO, your actual artistic representation of your characters changed so completely that it blew my mind. Thanks for the kind words about artistic improvement. Lotus and I really try to change up the style with every project we do in an effort to both match our style with the current project, as well as to try to make ourselves go outside our comfort zone. We sacrifice continuity of design across our comics in exchange (hopefully) for improvement.

What sticks out to me the most are the Bombadeers. Scenes of desperation are good but require a solid context. Here? I found their saturation in the back half of this comic to be a blessing and something I disliked. First, the blessing; it's an odd character design that you pull off well. YAY! So glad you liked the Bombadeers! I actually liked them so much that they altered the entire comic. The original script was to have Sonya go all the way to the end and face Charles LeBoom in this episode. But after spending too much time on her sexy "training sequence" I began to REALLY enjoy drawing the Bombadeers. So I kept at it, and before I knew it....this thing turned into a potential two part episode. ;-)

So awesome to hear some feedback about their expressions. It's a leap I felt like we made in this comic. Something about the laughing expressions just got better, and it really added to the desperation, and hysteria of the tickling.

We didn't just want these characters to be ticklish...we wanted them to be SO unbearably screamingly ticklish that they couldn't possibly stand another nano second of the relentless feathering.

Of course, I can talk to you more, but hey, if this is a taste of what you can do now, I might have to be a pestering little shit on that thing we talked about because holy hot damn this is great.

Heh - thanks again, my friend. I do think we're slowly getting the hang of this thing with each new project. Some of the comics that we've already started seem to jump up another notch from here - both in terms of rendering and in terms of eroticism.

Let's hope we can keep it going.

Thanks again (at the risk of being redundant).

Anything in particular you'd like to see from Sonya if we move on to a part 2??

Cheers,

The (D) Tow

well, i do have one suggestion. the scenes of desperation are really good, but i would like to see the ticklee sort of suffer more. in the latter part of the comic, the Bombadiers hanging is not really seen, you just see the arms up. i would liked to have seen more of then struggling to hang on!

but apart from that it is one of my new comics that i will enjoy again and again (well, until part 2 comes out)

Oh hell no. I trust your judgment in construction, though I will say that I was intrigued by the possibility of Sonya topless, as you see at the end of the training sequence.

On the other end, just a continuation of your expressive tickling art (like, seriously, the facial expressions in this comic are amazing) is great. We're lucky to have people of you and Lotus's skill level constructing artwork for this fetish.

Got it last night. Great story and artwork. Look forward to future editions.

Oz: Yes, my good friend. Yes they are! And hey speaking of which - I had the most diabolical idea for Sonya 2 last night. I'll send you an email with the details. MUAAAA HAAAA HAAAAA! lol. Thanks again for working with me on Secret Agent Sonya. You're awesome.

Marvin #s: That makes sense, amigo. It was tough to include shots of the Bombadeer's hands often, just from a compositional perspective, but I definitely know exactly what you're saying. I can promise that Sonya 2 will have more intense tickling, more intense desperation, and more danger in general.

In other words...no more mister nice spy. LMAO.

Meangry: Awwwww, thanks so much, good buddy. Lotus and I are definitely doing a lot to try to improve between and during projects. I hope we can ratchet things up a notch or two. Lord knows I'm tryin'. XD

And in regards to Sonya topless...I don't wanna spoil anything...but what if I told you that in Sonya 2 there was a damn good chance of having tickled on both her naked breasts as well as her naked feet. At the same time.

Would that pique your interest?

PQFingers: Thank you so much for your support, and for taking the time to share your generous comment. Greatly appreciated. Hope to start working on issue 2 very soon.

Thanks for making Sonya such a successful little spy.

XD

Extremely pleased at the return of Sonya and happily snapped up a copy. Hope to see more finger and prodding tickles in future installments as those are always fun. I'm already eager for more. More! :manicd:

Wow! Sonya is sexy! Also, I love the smart comments on the cover.
Great work.

Superxexex: Thanks so much for buying the comic and for commenting. And your first comment ever. How cool! Sonya is honored. XD Now when you say more finger prodding...do you mean on her terribly tender button? Or just like, everywhere?

tkfan74: YAY! Thanks so much. Out of curiosity, what smart comments would you be referring to?

Thanks to all those that broke the secret spy code on page 6

You all amaze me!!!!!

I didn't think anyone would get the reference, and actually use the hidden cypher!

You are all truly tickle spies extraordinaire!!!

For those of you that know the terribly exciting secret, please keep it classified.

Yes...Sonya will do that in episode 2.

Yes...you will see her completely at their mercy.

And yes...all the "secrets" will be REVEALED!

Wow...and I though I was sneaky.

>.>

<.<

O.O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys are the best.

Now don't tell anyone.

The Deet

oh, i did not know of any secret code! please let me know what it is, i want to be part od the secret.

what it is and where is the cypher?

oh, i did not know of any secret code! please let me know what it is, i want to be part od the secret.

what it is and where is the cypher?

If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret code.

Some of the folks who carefully read Bounce Chix Origins I and II realized that there might be a hidden code in Secret Agent Sonya: Dangerous Interrogations.

Origins could contain the question. Sonya could contain the answer. I'm actually amazed that someone pays such diligent attention...much less 3 people!

Wow.

Numbers are letters and letters are numbers.

The cypher answers a question every Sonya fan probably wants to know the answer to. And in Sonya #2, you get to finally find out the answer. Even if you don't know the question. XD

Or I could be making all this up to distract you from the terrible classified secret that only SONYA knows the details of. And she'll never tell.

NEVER!

NEEEEEEEVER. Well, maybe she will. :woot2:

Thanks for your interest, mate.
