Alright, I said I would say more, and now I am finally doing so. Hoorays. And all that stuff.
YAY! Thanks, mate. As you know (at least I HOPE you do) your feedback means a lot - and I take it very seriously. So your support of FOUL PLAY 2 is truly appreciated and also inspires me further regarding future and in-progress publications (of which there seems to be lots).
So here we go:
I made comment on how you may have done something more hot than Embassy Heist with this one. I think that would be unfair to both Embassy Heist and Foul Play 2; both are massive leaps forward into the eroticism of your tickling action, and I think both captivate all of what makes this fetish so fucking amazing. Both feature a very visceral, very intensive, very physical style of tickling, of conquering the lee. Dusty was absolutely wrecked. Josephene was absolutely annihilated, and she deserved it. She was a bitch. And she was broken down so well that...um...
EMBASSY HEIST was an interesting one to me. The truth is that Dusty is one of those characters that I want to see tickled in the worst way. I mean - I love her as a character, and I can't really explain it, but she just seems like she was made to undergo the meanest, most fiendish, most erotic, most unyielding sort of tickle punishment. Why her? I don't know. But much like her scenes in the Origins series with Blake and then her "release torture" afterwards....I wanted to get her again. I mean REEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY get her again.
So the more I thought about tickling her - the more the plot for Embassy Heist took shape. I invented Pinkerton Poe specifically because I wanted to create a ridiculously fiendish tickler to take ruthless advantage of Dusty and push her to the brink, over and then back again.
I invented Josephine and Holly for the same reason. Jo is just such a haughty pain in the ass. And Holly is do freaking sweet, and daintily British, and scitzo out of her mind. I did not feel a twinge of guilt bringing Jo squealing to her surrender. I'd do it again. No. Like right now.
Obviously, Holly was an interesting character. Your various facial expressions, the way you pinpointed her lathe, sensual frame. I'm not going to lie, the different scenes with her really caught my attention. I love Holly. She's so cute, and imagining her with a british accent is almost throb inducing. Maybe with enough time, she'll join my list of your favorite ever characters, along with Blake, Dusty, and the terribly forgotten Naughty Devil (I NEVER FORGET SHE SHOULD BE RAVAGED TOO), because she has an interesting look and brings something very nice to the table.
Ha...that devil. As we've mused...she deserves so much more attention. **sigh** Someday.
As for Holly - I really appreciate the input. I dig Holly. I dig her absolute adoration of tickling. I dig her oblivious bottomless innocence mingled with her "Screaming Lover" deviousness. She's way too much fun. I guarantee she'll be back. The only real question is: who do I subject to her wicked tickly ways next???
In all actuality, Josephene's size, the way you manuevered her body, the way she shrieked and fought...it's all so wonderful. Watching her breakdown was classic, and by the time we've gotten to the back half of the comic, from the involuntary tonguing of Holly as her nipples were teased (an absolutely wicked scene, by the way) it just gets better and better. I'm not going to lie, the first panel on page 13, where Holly is tying Josephene's wrists together? The slight blush of their cheeks, the exhaustion in Josephene's face and her limp inability to fight with her wrists, to Holly's lustful stare and her towering over her boss...yeah. Just. Yeah. And then Squealing Lover gets involved, and you are hitting all the right notes. That onslaught...leading to page 16? Holy fuck, bro.
Thanks man. The expressions in FP 2 were my favorite part. I just really wanted to focus on all of the wacky nuances of such a scene. I know I pushed them into the realm of giddy comic hilarity....but hey....we're tickle fetishists. Hilarity is kinda our THING.
And thanks for pointing out that panel of Jo having her wrists tied, and the look of bashful exhaustion. That exact expression was inspired by one of our mutually favorite comic series. Can you spot the panel. Yenny. No Mercy 1. "Yenny, Lies have no place in the Gomez's Dungeon!" Yeah...possibly the prelude to the hottest pussy tickle EVAR!!!
That page alone is worth the price of this comic. That page alone is enough to fuel my feelings, as you know from private conversation. You crossed a boundary not a lot of people are willing to cross as artists, whether it is modesty or whatever. And I think it sucks. That page was the payoff, that page is what we all want when we are in the bedroom during an intense session...and if we don't get that feeling, what the hell is the point? We're not prudes. That stuff right there is sexier than damn near most the clips and almost every single piece of tickling art that isn't willing to cross that boundary. And I thank you for that. I truly do. Because I'd rather have this. I'd rather have you being this intense at all times with your art because it stands the hell out from practically all your peers. I'd of never thought of something like the Squealing Lover, though. That's just too damn great.
Well, all compliments aside I'll say that I don't deserve any medals for the line I crossed in FP2 and Embassy Heist. You were right back when you said that I crossed that line, that orgasmic erotic forced-surrender line with Peterton Poe before I ever did in a */F tickle comic. Somehow it's a tough line to cross. I can't explain it. But I will say that artists that choose to stay on their side of the line are comfortable where they're at. And that's cool. It took me like 7 years to "go there" and there are still come characters of mine that will likely never go there in a comic. But we'll see. It's all about testing our own boundaries as artists, and readers, and well - whatever we are in this genre. Who knows what we'll all be into tomorrow.
I truly appreciate your support, and your help in getting here. Fans, friends, and supporters really are what make this stuff fun. And the only reason I spend so much time on it is BECAUSE it's fun. They also help you push yourself - and I thank you for your strong shoves over the years. ;-)
