This is a true smorgasborg of a thread. The soap opera clips stem from my supra-genius idea to search through soap transcripts and cross reference that to episodes posted on the net. It turned up some decent clips although, frankly, the venture was more time-intensive than it was rewarding. The endeavour is obviously dependent on what's posted to the net, so a lot of clips are 'lost' unless older episodes appear. I'd be happy to take suggestions for search words (I didn't go too far afield from the word tickle or its four variants) or further share my methods for those interested parties. I'll keep my eyes pealed for future scenes. I deposited a large offering of clips from Japan in this thread a month ago, for those that missed it.

The first scene below is from the French-dubbed version of the Bold and the Beautiful. The character Bridget has her foot tickled while a massage is being administered. Ironically, I think there is an Italian-dubbed version of this scene, but I have yet to see the original. I will include the English dialogue from the scene further down in this thread. Incidentally, I don't watch a lick of Soaps, so I don't pretend to know any of these actresses or the characters they so thoroughly inhabit. Mimi from the soap Days of our Lives is tickled on her waist in the second clip. Between these first two scenes, I felt like I had something somewhat worthwhile. The third clip consists of a middle-aged woman being tickled. The girl in the last scene is talking in her sleep and exclaims 'that tickles;' she is not actually tickled.

This is actually my 2000th post. I was hoping to do something grand, but I'll have to settle for this. Atleast it's better drivel than some of what I post 😀 ...

The clips in this post all come from either Chinese or Taiwanese television. Two girls visit a massage center in the first clip and are tickled whilst receiving- surprise, surprise- massages. There is also a foot massage sequence sans tickling which I can post here if anyone is interested. The second clip is of woman being briefly foot-tickled. I have included two versions of the next scene: the first with only the /f tickling and the second with the /f followed by the /m. Pick your poison. The last clip is from a Taiwanese commercial in which two characters (germs, we'll say) living inside a girls mouth tickle her tonsils with cleaning plumage. She probably should have brushed more often.

The first scene, from French TV, is of Annie Pujol (pictured) being foot tickled by two guys while reading a script against foreign backgrounds (green screen). A brief underarm tickle occurs in the second. The next scene is from a Hong Kong game show in which a Chinese celebrity whom I don't know places her barefoot into a box in front of her and tries to identifies objects; another woman inside the box manipulates the objects. I've seen this scenario played out on Japanese tv, as well, without tickling. Here the tickling is borderline, at best, because the girl doesn't keep her feet in the box long enough. Some of the objects are things that would tickle, though, and she has hot feet (see clip #2).

A girl on a French reality TV show is tickle-attacked in a prolonged sequence in the first clip. A (non-tickling) scene in which a girl in a jacuzzi complains about a guy tickling her in French is the second clip (he is not; there is a man snorkeling). Mimi Rogers is having her upper abs massaged from Bryan Brown while in the buff in a tv movie in the third clip. I perceived a slight, unintended smile on her face that made the tickle seem genuine; others might consider this questionable. The fourth clip is of actress Embeth Davidtz in the movie Fracture having her feet stroked for the Babinski reflex. You will not see a reaction shot (I think she's out cold); this scene was mentioned previously on the forum and is probably of more interest to foot fans. The last clip appears to be from an American movie, probably 70s era, that I can't identify. Perhaps I need to summon nontkl or another enterprising mainstream afficianado...
 
Jennifer Aniston, dubbed in French, is tickled on her sides in the first clip. I was surprised not to find this clip posted to the forum without dubbing considering her popularity here. Anyone know the name of the movie? The second clip is from an Italian movie; I don't speak Italian, but I can here the actress say it tickles, anyway. The tickling scenes in Sirens, dubbed in French, are compiled in the third clip. The fourth clip is from an old French movie; the blue coloring of what should be a black & white scene makes it look like Ted Turner got a hold of the film. The final scene is of an old woman being tickled in an episode of a late 80s cartoon: not my cup of tea, but it's well done. I will quote the description from an old mainstream list on the forum:

Three very short gangsters impersonate babies to get into the house of an old rich woman. They have her tied up (arms to side) and demand that she tell them where her jewels are. The old woman still thinks that they are children and are just playing a game with her. She tells them to do their worst. The leader says okay boys lets give it to her. They all pull out long white feathers and tickle her under her arm, her stomach and bare foot simultaneously. The woman begins to laugh (very realistic) and says that she'll never talk. They give up and search the house.

I'm a movie buff myself, and I don't recognize the actors in that unidentified movie, either. Strange.

I don't know that my mind could be classified as great, but... it generally works 😉 . I may have to explore the transcript/recap idea with other parts of TV land, too. Who knows what's out there :scared: ...

I thought it was a British film; maybe not, but it's entitled "Hope and Glory", a World War II movie, nominated for 5 Academy Awards. This scene happens very early in the movie.

Here is dialogue (in English) from the Top Modeles/Bold and the Beautiful scene when the foot massage begins. Something tells me I wouldn't mind seeing the original version of the scene :idunno:{the episode aired on 2/3/05 for all interested 'search parties'}:

Nick: Oh, here, let me do this. Sit.

Bridget: No, are you sure?

Nick: No, it's okay. It's a technique. It's an acquired skill.

Bridget: Really?

Nick: Yeah.

Bridget: Hmm, wonder why they didn't teach that to us in med school.

Nick: Because you can't learn this type of thing in a book. What you have to do is, kind of coax the blood downstream, if you know what I mean. Sort of like catching a fish.

Someone put the Bold & the Beautiful episode with the above scene up in English, so now we have it in three languages, for what it's worth. I feel fortunate; sometimes you just don't know if you'll ever see a scene like that or if it's lost for good. I'm attaching the English version and the Italian dubbed one below. More soap scenes are on their way...
