There's always someone at the cocktail party who has to be the high-and-mighty type who decides the conversation needs to be on some higher, more intellectual plane, the kind of snooty prick who you'd like to stab in the face with an hors d'oeuvre toothpick. I'll try not to sound like this guy:

There are several levels of crazy:

quirky
weird
goofy
loony
nuts
bat-shit crazy

I think some ticklers fall in these categories, just like "normal" people do, e.g. one end of the spectrum, where a guy is a little too pushy in the singles bar, to the other end, where the guy's a sexual assailant.

Most of us probably fall between quirky and weird. It's loony and above you gotta watch for...
