So since some of you may have noticed I'm quite a rambler and so many of you have been so friendly, I think it'd be a nice idea to have a little thread in my pad for you guys to be able to come in and talk. [Aka talk to me please ;x;]

Plus I can ramble here about updates that aren't quite so important that I'd need to make a whole thread for (like a prolonged absence of some sort).

Anyway, thank you all for the comments. You guys have provided a significant esteem boost for my artwork, wow. :wub

Updates:
This week I've been exhausting myself though. But it's the productive kind I've been craving, so I'm not complaining about it much. I've had some ongoing health related pains that have me concerned, so it's good to be distracted. My hubby's health has been bad all year, so with all these trips to the ER and all these surgeries he's undergoing, you can bet I'm an insomniac! Though I am trying to sleep when I get time.

Uhh let's see.. AH! I've been doing a week long intense exam for this job I desperately want. Took the first part at 3am, finished at 5am, but I passed!!! WHOO! Just two more parts and I'm in. So nervous.

Got some more commissions which I'm working on, I'm sure many of you will enjoy seeing the results once they're posted. Which reminds me-- I need to get a move on shading page 3, Tuesday is fast approaching!

I think that's enough for now haha, back to work! <3

And also, what would you guys think about a tips/tuts thread in here sometimes? I had a very nice PM asking for some advice and so I thought I'd offer (though it'd be slowly updated since -- time crunch).

Did they bribe you with Mistress Valerie's tastegasmic cookies? You know that detour sign outside our entrance is fake, right? The flashing lights along the sign's perimeter should've been a dead givaway...

Either way...wow. Totally gonna stalk your dA pages later, hah. How long have you been an artist? How did you first learn to draw? Mark Crilley's a fun resource, but I can only get so far eyeball-tracing from his manga how-to books, lol.

I second that tips and tuts idea, should you feel generous enough to share some!

LOL Something like that... more like I got a commission and saw people liked my art so much so I strolled on over. XD

Uhh as for being an artist, I've doodled all my life but I started getting into drawing seriously around 2009. Took a break for 2010 because life really sucked aaaand have been steadily trying to get back into it ever since. Most everything I've done has been posted on DA, so you'll be able to see where I leaped in skill. haha

I've seen Mark Crilley around, he's a nice dude and he's pretty good! I mostly just taught myself by drawing what I saw (pausing tv to sketch a frame), stuff like that. I have glanced over some books here and there to kinda see the techniques but one of my stubborn quirks is my brain doesn't like to learn unless I'm teaching myself...? XD
That's why tutorials in games and building instructions are 90% lost on me LOL

Got the job! Yay! But missed my orientation because I was in the hospital being treated like shit, boooo. :c
It's unfortunate that no matter where I go healthcare just doesn't seem to care.

Haha, yeah, tickle art often gets huge fanfare from among the community - we know how to show our appreciation, though that often involves the invoking of laughter of some sort. You're all but guaranteed to have a few commissions asked by some of us in the community, though I've got an idea for one in mind that's a bit more vanilla. That'll be for another day though...

So, slightly personal but curious question - is tickling a fetish for you at all, or you simply like it enough to hang out with us crazies? :lol

So five years of serious work, to get where you are now? That's actually quite impressive! You have a serious eye for art to be able to do that - and such beautiful creations to show for it, too. That's more than a bit inspiring for some of us out there. Drawing from stills from TV is a neat tip - almost like a prompt or something. Though it's great to hear that you have stories between you and your husband to help fuel your artistic juices too; stories can be such a powerful catalyst, and I often use some of mine to help inspire me while composing music, so I know where you're coming from!

And yes, grats on the job, and I do hope you feel better! ^_^

Oooh vanilla~ I know people use that to mean different things, but as a mushy romantic at heart typically I love vanilla so... <3 ;3;

It's really hard for me to explain, but I'll give it a go...

I have battled with depression since my teens, so I have a hard time getting overly.. interested in things? So it's really hard for me to gauge a lot since it's hard to feel that spark of excitement/intensity. Couple that with the fact I am a demisexual.... XD
Demis are only ever really sexually aroused by the person they're in love with. So things like porn don't phase or excite me. However if, say, I saw it and got an idea from it and went to do that with my hubby, well hot damn. LOL

Now, if I were with someone that enjoyed being tickled, I'd have so much fun with that... and I do get away with it in certain areas.
When my boyfriend grips my hips it's an arousing sort of ticklish sensation, and I really like it. I like ticklishness in general haha. [Unfortunately for me, too much is painful, and my hubby's ticklishness hurts too so no go there for most parts of the body. ;_;]

So wow that was a lot of rambling but the short and sweet of it is I'm aroused by my partner's arousal no matter what "kinks" are involved.
(Though... glasses.....are a bit of a soft spot... >///>)

But I've found that I enjoy the community/drawing tickling LOL So having commissions focused on it is a lot more enjoyable than some of the other types.
Overall I just love with the thought of people enjoying themselves too.... and laughter <3

Ahh, makes sense! That really is the great thing about tickling - fetish or otherwise, they can both intermingle so well in our communities, here or on dA, and it's easy to share the laughter and the joy. :happy: That's basically how my fiancé interacts with my having a tickle-fetish - it's not inherently arousing for her, but it's still a lot of fun that she loves to indulge in. Either way, win-win. :lol

I know a few friends who are "ticklish to the point of pain" as well - doesn't even make 'em laugh, it just hurts quite sharply. That's too bad, that it's the case for you and your hubby as well, but I'm glad to see that the tickling art and communities here are at least a fun positive for you!

As for an update, I nearly died this morning. That's always fun.
Had an anaphylactic allergic reaction to a bit of cheese. Not going to be courageous and explore food anymore, holy crap. I know I have a lot of food allergies but I didn't really realized that this French-imported cheese was aged with a type of mold........ so. There's that. Being jabbed with the needles suddenly without warning was certainly not fun in the middle of a panic attack from not breathing lol... ^^;

It's like my body is sabotaging my ability to draw.... I'm so weak and hurting from all this x.x Getting kinda lazy about typing even, that shouldn't be so physically draining blah.

I happen to be a world class champion at talking for millenniums at a time, making my words heard by as many people as happen to be listing at the time, and despite the immense volume of words spouting from between my lips, never really saying anything of that much importance.

I suppose you could say that my thoughts are more or less a big steaming ball of luke-warm air; the air slowly wafts over your head, and sure, you definitely feel it, but it still leaves no lasting impression. It all kinda washed over you, and was forgotten about, leaving you completely unaware that I changed tenses in the middle of that blabber, and you totally didn't notice. I could also go on for ages about how terrible I am at holding conversations in real life. But that would undoubtedly leave me here all night, so I'm just gonna leave it at this:

I'm available if you ever need me to throw some verbal diarrhea on the page.

Actually, I think I managed to get through three entire paragraphs without actually saying anything. Maybe I should go into politics. Lord knows I could bore the entire senate to sleep reading the phone book aloud to the entire room, not even stopping for a restroom break. Just letting my waste drop in my pants so It can stink up the room, further pressuring people to leave the debate, until nobody remains to refute the bill that will make me the undisputed leader of the world forever.

Oh my... Hmm... Well. If I had to throw out a suggestion, I'd recommend going to Newgrounds, finding a programmer, or writer in need of an artist, and offer your services. Maybe they'd be willing to pay you to create art assets for games. There's a whole page devoted to teaming up with other developers.

And yes, i'm better now. I just had a mild cold. Still sucked when it was there though.

Hmm. Just had another, much riskier idea.

Go find a programmer, musician, and writer, get a good concept for a game going, and submit it to kickstarter. It's much more of a commitment, but it could yield much larger returns if you can all pull it off.

Update time! Sorry for the inactivity the past two months. Things have been a bit hectic, but for those who were worried, we're still fighting the fight and aren't homeless. ;w;
Just..... surviving on pennies and wishes. lol

Health hasn't been great, which comes as no surprise thanks to all the stress. Doctor has actually ordered me to take it easy because I've got some stress induced conditions now too. Joy.

So I decided to take a little break from work work work and visit places again. <3
(Though... commissions are still open, just slow. v.v; )

Also really late thanks Cryptic. I've actually taken up a few older ones that were remade for the PSP to kinda have that "new" feeling even with the classic games I love.

Currently playing Star Ocean series through. I like older JRPGs mostly it seems... Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Star Ocean, Suikoden, etc. I pretty much like anything hugely plot driven and fantasy based. ADVENTURE. I was playing Destiny on the ps3 but it got too much of the same and I couldn't ever play with Caliburn since we share a ps3, and he was always on when our friends were so it just didn't pan out. lol

I'm going to be restarting Dragon's Dogma sometime, but I got a bit upset when our HD corrupted and I lost my saves... again. I can't afford PS+ right now so, been procrastinating on PS3 gaming until I can afford that. Same reason I've been iffy about replaying through Dragon Age/Mass Effect/Skyrim/etc.
