I Strongly Recommend Aimster

As others have pointed out on these boards, Aimster does seem to be an excellent (perhaps temporary) solution to our bandwidth problem.

For those of you that have used Napster, you will find the interface almost identical. For those that haven't, just imagine that you can download any number of clips between all users of the system. If you get 200 people, each with hundreds of clips, you're talking limitless amounts of trading. So far I've been pleased with the interface and the downloads. I've found several items on Aimster that I've never even known existed. I would definitely like to see a flood of new users.

I will try to wrangle up as many mainstream clips that I can, in order to increase the availability. In the meantime, drop me a line if you see me. My user name is (not surprisingly) Oblesklk.

I have no thoughts on Aimster, though I have had some success with another file sharing program called Kazaa. You can snag it at www.kazaa.com, and it's pretty wide open for the various formats of stuff you can share.... My 2 cents...

Yes, it isn't any different than Napster or other file sharing programs. Essentially each user can specify how many downloads/uploads he wants to do at one time. If you have a regular modem, you're limited to the amount of data you can transfer at any one time, so the problems lies in too many people trying to download and not enough people wanting to upload.

We just need more people online that are willing to upload quite a bit. I have a cable modem at home, and don't mind just letting the machine sit all day just for this purpose. The waits are kind of annoying at times, but if you have patience, someone else is bound to have the same clip you're looking for.

You know....I've always wanted to share my literally huge library of tickling clips wit chu guys, and I think that this might be the best way to finally do it. I've just registered wit Aimster, and my current count of video clips is a little over 600. Oh, and before I forget..........my screeen name is o0Stoned0o. OK all, well, if you look for UpNsm0ke, and that is a zero, I have about 2000 or so files... 95% tickling. I usually don't change the file names so if you know what you are looking for, chances are, I have it.... enjoy...

It's great to see new people enlisting with Aimster I'm hoping we can get all the net's mainstream clips on the service so anyone, at any time, can logon and see all the mainstream stuff that the tickling community knows about.

I've received a couple mainstream scenes on Aimster that I didn't even know existed.

For those of you interested, I have added to the files names to aid in searching. All my files will be either:

Tickling - Personal [filename]
Tickling - Commercial [filename]
Tickling - Mainstream [filename]

in case you're only looking for one particular kind of video. Tons of stuff on the software, I hope more will join in the fun!

I would like to personally endorse Aimster as well. It's much like Napster, but it hasn't been neutered (yet!).

I am still trying to figure out a) how to tell if a user is connected (I cant seem to download anything because the user is offline) and b) what the process is for uploading files.
