Hi all!
The dates of NYST 2002 have finally been determined. It will be Memorial Day Weekend (Friday May 24th - Monday, May 27th). The MAIN day of the gathering will be Saturday, May 25th, but there will be activities on the other days for those who would like to participate. The main event will be a covered-dish thing, which will be organized once everything else is settled.
Because this is taking place over a long weekend, once we have a guest list determined, I will find some deals for local hotels and we will pick one or two that most closely match everyone's budget. (Due to difficulties from our gathering last year, you may rest assured that the hotel will NOT be the Albany Motel 6.) One possibility would be a local hotel that has a comedy club in it... or another would be a lower priced place like a Days Inn. It all depends on your budget. Once you have been a confirmed guest for the gathering, you will receive hotel information.
Also, on the days following the gathering, we will organize a late lunch for those who are in the area (or stayed over) to attend. As always, more details to follow !
Right now we figure we can fit 40 people into our apartment. We'd like to have as close of a balance in genders as possible, so all you women -- PLEASE come ! Also, men who are attending as part of a couple will get preference over single guys. This does not mean that you can't come if you are single… we are just trying to get a good ratio of men and women.
Invites are being sent out to the following lists:
1) a NYST 2002 pre-invite list (done)
2) Ticklingnews subscribers
3) other yahoo group subscribers
4) TMF/my gatherings page
First things first... if you want to attend, you need to answer a questionnaire (it's ok, this will be fun). We just want to get to know people who are going to be invited into our house and playing, I think you understand.
So fill out the questionnaire if you'd like to attend -- be sure you do so IMMEDIATELY as this is the only way to INSURE you get a spot.

you to answer the following questionnaire, and e-mail it back to Josie <[email protected]> at your earliest convenience. We will only allow 40
people to come to the play party (approximately 20 men and 20 women), so act fast!
You will be contacted regarding your questionnaire in the near future. Please include these questions along with your answers in your reply.
(1) What's your name?
(2) Will you be at least 18 years of age on the day of the gathering?
(3) Are you a tickler, ticklee, or both?
(4) Do you have any serious health problems?
(5) Have you ever been convicted of a crime? If so, what crimes?
(Responding "yes" to this may not necessarily prevent you from attending.)
(6) Are you married, involved romantically, or single? Will you attend the gathering as part of a couple, or by yourself? With who, etc?
(7) Do you live in New York State, outside New York State, or outside the
United States?
(8) Do you wish to have your name kept anonymous on future mailings, or
may we list you openly and without BCC (blind copy)?
(9) Have you ever experimented with consensual bondage?
(10) Where do you most like to tickle a person?
(11) Where do you most like to be tickled?
(12) Do you have any problem with a person's sexual preferences?
(13) Do you have any problem with nudity at a play party?
Specifically, do any of the following pose a problem to you:
Male partial (upper body) nudity
Male nudity
Female partial (upper body) nudity

their television during the gathering?
