(this was just a fun way for me to get the whole introductory thing out of the way. i've been sitting on it for a while, but havent been able to find a time or a means of conveying all of this outside information. so here's what i came up with. Enjoy X3)

Operation: Black Sheep
[official brief]
Serial#: 2ky219
Dept. of Animal Control

[from the account of one Anonymous: MR. FARMER]

This is the story of a girl; three girls to be exact. And one woman. Yes, among their lot only one of them has the right to call themselves that, for she is their overseer, and had spent many long hard years in search of self definition.
This woman, apart from the three girls who lived in her home as boarders, is exceptionally well aged. While her actual age is held to the strictest secrecy, this much is known of her past:
Born somewhere near the end of the second world war to a family of 6, with the exception of a father and eldest brother who died in the conflict, she was the youngest of 3 children, raised by her widowed mother and second eldest brother, who had lost a leg overseas. After a time, her mother would lose a long bout with tuberculosis and die at the age of 52, leaving her at the time a 12 year old matriarch of two college aged boys and the caretaker of her disabled brother, who also served as the household patriarch. These four would go on living together, until the youngest sister reached the age of 16, at which point she entered the St. Augustine Preparatory school for girls in 1950-something. Her brothers finally graduated from their respective state universities and went their separate ways, and the eldest was able to support himself with the insurance money left as a result of his parent’s respective death’s in addition to the stipend given to him by the state as compensation for his war injury. This youngest of their brood would not learn of her sibling’s disappearances from the family home for a number of years, when she found herself alone on the doorstep after her graduation from St. Augustine.
Yes, her past seems quite tragic, but times then were hard for everyone, and if these were the flames of adversity then she used them to forge herself an iron will. Darcia--Darcy to her friends--Muffette is one of the toughest old birds you’ll ever meet: strict, punctual, and with a strong sense of purpose; though she is in truth more free-spirited than one could perceive on her appearances alone. Her hair is a darkened auburn with a few fleeting gray wisp at her temples, though these are not visible beneath the majority of her locks which hang to the nape of her neck. She tends to wear sweaters, as she is particularly cold-natured, perhaps due to her polish descent. Seldom wears heels, as she does not care for their “flare” and keeps an almost constant, sullen scowl. It’s the face of a librarian, which suits her purposes of employment very well, but makes her difficult to approach even with the precedent of intimate companionship.
Regarding her past, however, Mrs. Darcia Muffette would return to scholarship as both a means of progressing her education and finding a place to live after Prep school. She would spend a few years here earning her Librarian’s Degree before seeking employment in a new place, desperate to escape the confines of her hometown where she could call no man friend. Perhaps it was a depression, or just a temporary episode of madness, but Darcy found herself one day with no belongings, no money, and simply the clothes on her back wandering down a stretch of highway toward nowhere in particular. Her shoes had long since fallen apart, and her feet were beginning to blister on the rough, hot asphalt. But she happened across a stranger named “John“, and somehow ended up living with him for a number of years before marrying him and soon after bearing several of his children.
But John vanished one day, like everyone else seemed to, leaving her with three sons. Fortunately, she had been the primary bread-earner from the beginning, so money was not a problem. But she was only 25, and the stress of maternity was taking its toll on her emotional well-being.
Toward the end of the 1960s, John returned from half-way around the globe with an 8-year-old child on his arm named Alice, who he explained was his “ward”, as a favor to a business associate in Beijing. John, you see, was a pot dealer. And after first being arrested back in 61--shortly after purchasing a house for his wife and children--spent 3 years in a federal facility, before being deported back to England. With the outbreak of the Vietnam war, his return to the states was nearly impossible, so he went east to establish connections and find a means of returning to his wife.
One way or another, after 7 years abroad, he managed this. And after Muffette finished beating John into a stain on her doorstep, they were together for another 10 years or so. Then he vanished again; this time for good. Or rather, he has not yet presently returned.
But Alice remained there in the states. After Muffette assumed the status of legal guardian to her until she turned 18 toward the end of the 70s, they became the best of friends. Alice would open a day spa after finishing cosmetology school, and baby-sit for Muffette when she went to work. But all was still not well.
By now, Darcy had come up on her late 30s, and had developed an addiction to marijuana.
She asked Alice to keep an eye on her kids, who would go off to college, as she entered a facility.
The facility was monstrous, but effective, and less than a year later she was able to control her use of the substance (still uses to this day, actually, but only in small quantities for her “glaucoma”). But the facility itself introduced something altogether new to Darcy. Their treatments were severe, but heavily based in the psychology of addiction. In addition to detoxifying, the specialist there were trained to administer a certain kind of nervous stimuli therapy: in layman’s terms--tickle torture.
This would be Muffette’s first exposure to bondage, among many other things, but they proved highly effective, even though the treatments were extremely experimental, not yet even in a certified clinical stage. When she returned to her home, after being welcomed by her children who had been told she had accepted a temporary federal job overseas, she explained to Alice what all she had discovered about herself, and after failing to put it into words she could comprehend showed her by example.
Alice would be her first tickle-torture victim, and even scarier, she would enjoy it. The platonic, almost maternal relationship they’d shared for almost a decade would be undone in that single evening. But the two of them would never look back.
Alice is still single, but not at all excluded from the casual dating scene. She’s decided she doesn’t need or want romance, but rather is looking for some stable young man to settle for so that she may focus on her career while someone is at home tending to her undone household duties. Despite having been raised by the very orderly Darcy, Alice is a total slob, with a system of organization that even she does not fully understand. She lives in a loft above her salon, along with her two trainees Dumue (Doo-moo-ay) and Dijing (Dummy and Dee-Dee for short); how she came to house them no one is entirely sure.
The two of them are from somewhere in Indonesia, and are studying cosmetology abroad in a sort of work-study program. So in addition to earning credit for school, Alice also pays their wages and living expenses: she’s extremely powerful to them, and they fear her accordingly (though they are both a full head and shoulders taller than little 35 year old 5’5’’ Alice).
Returning to the summer of Muffette and Alice’s romance, however, there is no clear story as to how it ended or why, or even if it really did. The two of them never talk about it, though they are still very close friends. Like Muffette’s age, it is one of her closely guarded mysteries. Though we have reason to believe it was simply an ethical question between them, they’re thicker than thieves regarding any concrete answers.

[research data- ‘the three girls’ as mentioned in the preceding statement]

Marguerite-Janet Beaupeep [aka Marjane (to her English schoolmates), Maris/ Mari/Mary (to all other acquaintances) and Lady (to the other two girls)], age 23, height of about 5’7’’ (in heels--which she is seldom without). This young lady is the daughter of one G’Petio Beaupeep, who serves as a diplomat for the French government; in what capacity however we are unsure. Her family is very wealthy, despite a tragic personal history;
At the age of 10, Ms. Beaupeep’s mother--one Pinoichiette (Pin-wa-key-ett) Beaupeep was assassinated by a faction of a group known as the EIO (we are presently unsure of the expansion of this acronym, or what the group entails) in front of her very own eyes in cold blood. She doesn’t seem to remember this event, but has from that day forward always worn red. Prior to this time, she had come into possession of one Aileen Lovette--one of the two other girls who will be later defined-- as a “human pet”. It is worth mentioning the unmistakable evidence of genetic manipulation in Ms. Lovette, due to her sheep ears, and rectangular pupils; but the nature of said modifications is unknown beyond that capacity. There is a barcode marking on Aileen’s back, in addition to a symbol which appears to read “EIO” which leads us to believe that she shares some ties with them, though to what extent we are uncertain.
Returning to the subject of Mari, soon after the aforementioned unpleasantness, Mr. Beaupeep purchased his daughter a second pet for the purpose of bodily protection in case of a secondary incident. This second pet is similar to the aforementioned pet in regard to evidence of genetic modification, but differs in that she is taller, of a darker complexion and with black hair rather than white. Upon research of this girl, we found her to have a feasible legal identity unlike the other. Dolores Balkis, [aka Llore (to the denizens of Santa Cecillia Orphange), Nadie (to Lady Beaupeep), Bahbi (to the general population), Bah-Bah (to Aileen)] has no intelligible birth records, but is earliest listed as a resident of Barcelona in the St. Cecillia Orphanage for girls. It is here that she remained until she ran away around the age of 8, making a life for herself as a pick-pocket according to police records. She eventually stowed away on a freighter (we assume she stowed away, as there is no evidence that she purchased a ticket) to France and lived on the street for about a year (also courtesy of police records) until she was adopted/ abducted by the EIO at age 9. From there, we are not certain of her whereabouts until 4 years later when she was purchased by the Beaupeep family at age 13.
Now that it has been addressed what relationship these three share, we may focus more on what we’ve disclosed concerning the first most suspect, Marguerite:
In the early 90s, she was sent to a boarding school in England--perhaps as a security measure-- at the age of 14, taking with her her pet Aileen, though Balkis was present she would remain in France on the estate. She made numerous trips back to France for holidays, vacations, and other such educational intermissions, though on several of these trips she came into circumstances where Aileen was left alone in England. It was on such an occasion 4 years ago that Aileen disappeared until only recently.
She currently owns a private residence somewhere in the rural areas of France. Her address is not listed, and she does not receive mail. It is registered as an expansion of her father’s estate, though it is some distance away. Despite her ownership of this house, she has most recently been located in Ontario, living at Darcia Muffette’s residence as a boarder in addition to her two pets which--due to certain penal codes--must also be registered as residents, unlike in her home territory.
Visa records show that she and Ms. Balkis applied for their paperwork at the same time, whereas Aileen’s domestic papers are registered some 3 years prior to theirs. We have reason to believe that Aileen fled captivity from Marguerite until only recently, as to explain their current residence: Beaupeep has apparently located her somehow, but due to penal codes in these territories, she may not forcibly return Aileen to her abode overseas due to her citizenship status. We may infer from this that the reason the three of them are currently residing as they are is because A- Beaupeep does not want to lose track of her quarry, B- they are trying to convince her to return with them, C- she is on holiday in Canada for the time being, or D- none/all of the above.
Other than this, not much is known of Madame Beaupeep, as her personal life is intensely private. More investigative work to follow.

Aileen herself is something of a mystery. No paperwork, no Visa, no former address other than that of Ms. Beaupeep’s estate.
Reconnaissance has given us this much:
Name: Aileen Lovette (aka Aye)
Age: 22
Measurements: height 5’6’’ weight: (variable)
Due to the vagueness of this information, we requested further data. In response recon gave us this:
Sign: Virgo
Shoe size: 8
Favorite color: pink
(bastards)

On the subject of ms. Balkis, very little is known of her childhood other than her decade of transience, but it has been determined that early in her career as hired protection for Lady Beaupeep, there was an issue of obedience which resulted in several domestic disturbances. Screams could be heard from some chamber near the bottom of the manor, where it was affirmed by one of the ground’s keepers there was a basement. While French authorities were never authorized to investigate the premises on the grounds that it was a government building, and the national government refusing to be involved, it was confirmed by an outside source (who wishes to remain anonymous) that there is some manner of “dungeon” constructed beneath the house, which may be due in part to the building’s archaism. Inferring based upon this data, we may assume that the domestic disturbance was due to some ritual of enforcement enacted by Lady Beaupeep in order to reign in her charge.
These events took place somewhere around 8 years prior to our current investigation, but after this incident, and several similar incidents reported in the same month , there have been no reported instances ever since. It is also worth noting that one week later, Balkis began appearing in public with Beaupeep and Lovette.
As for Balkis’ official report:
Legal name: Nadie Dolores Balkis (Formerly Dolores Balkis, prior to the incident 8 years ago).
Responds to: Nadie-Llore, Nadie, Llore, Bahbi
Age: 21 (the youngest of the three)
Measurements: Height 6’2’’ (the tallest of the three) weight (unknown)
Body type: muscular, but slim.
Whatever her involvement with these two is, outside of security detail, is unknown.

[unofficial notes]
With all due and applicable respect, these four are fucking strange.

btw, for those of you that actually know who any of these people are, i'm planning to start drawing them all again fairly soon. with my summer schedule being somewhat less restricted than during the school year, I'll try to get some decent finished drawings done.)

Man, that's damned detailed enough to actually be an official report! You've managed to sew a surprising amount of children's literary references into the proceedings... my favorite being the anarchist organization EIO (of which one might suspect a shadowy personality known as "MacDonald" to be group leader). It's rather disturbing to finally find out that (1) Aye (along with Bah-Bah) was the product of genetic tinkering, and (2) that she'd been sold into virtual slavery as a humanized "pet". And Ms. Muffette... she's gone through enough personal agony for about a dozen lifetimes! Pretty sordid stuff! I can see why they're all being watched closely!

I'm so glad somebody finally read this XD lol
and the genetic tinkering is a factor that many species in this story have in common. Even Maris :p
But that's another story for another time.
Its funny you would Mention Ol' MacDonald, as the EIO apparently has its earliest foundations in Ireland, which coincidentally is Aye's birthplace. Or maybe not so coincidentally. >w<
This would be a lot easier to understand if I'd produced the actual backdrop to the story before actually drolling on and on with this information. there are more than just humanized sheep wandering this world; there are also wolves. ;p
but thats also another story for another time.

i'm glad to hear that you enjoyed this.
