Busy yes for both of us. But I haven’t had the courage to ask her yet. I’ve known her for 11 years now

What you could do to finally seize the moment is when you see her outside, have her make some kind of playfully-sarcastic remark towards you, and as you two are about to leave, use a hug as an excuse to tickle her sides. If she laughs and asks "What'd you do that for? Haha", tease her by saying "gotcha back for what you said earlier!"
