I missed your return in your ToG thread, so I thought I'd put my thoughts here.
Being in a depressive and apathetic state is something I can sympathize with too well, and I applaud the determination it took to come back at all. Losing hard work is a terrible, terrible feeling, but it's also an opportunity to blank slate something, and it gives me hope to see you assuming such a positive stance after it all.
This is already the longest visitor message I've ever read, so further praise and feedback I'll give in a private message, but first just let me say that your game was an absolutely pleasure to play, back when I first found it and still today when I re-downloaded it to give it another try. It was frankly inspirational, to the point where it was a huge reason why I bought RPG Maker in the first place. The amount of meticulous care you put into your work is noticed and appreciated. 🙂

I just wanted to say that your game is awesome, and a lot of fun, and extremely well made and written, I'm very impressed by all the work you put into it and what a fine product came out at the end.
However, one thing I noticed is, this game seems really really hard! Have you considered lowering the difficulty or adding a difficulty selection at the beginning? Some of the levels have so many bad guys and the bosses are so difficult that an otherwise amazing game becomes so frustrating I have to stop playing.
Or, have you considered releasing some cheats to allow people to get past the parts that may be driving them crazy or the characters that just won't go down?
Anyways, aside from the difficulty level, again I'm really impressed with your hard work. Very gracious you took on this project for the good of the community.
Hey Deus, how's ToG coming along? Haven't heard much out of it lately. I understand if you're busy, but here's my friendly kick in the butt to get moving.
