I am honestly a huge geek at heart, and so I love learning about new ideas and subjects, which are accompanied by personal research and asking questions if need be in order to understand. Those who have met me in person realize pretty quickly that I am all about comics, tabletop miniature war gaming (Warhammer Fantasy/40K), superheroes (and villains), console and computer games (PC is the master race), Star Trek/Star Wars, Voltron/Transformers/He-Man/G.I. Joe/other amazing classics, and AD&D, all in some way, shape, or form. I love conventions and similar activities, such as GenCon, Video Games Live, and the various Comic Cons. 🙂
On a more personal note, for those who have similar interests, I have always loved lifting weights at the gym, and have ever since my college days. It is certainly cliche, but the iron keeps me grounded and helps me relieve built-up stress from both life and my profession. I enjoy discussing physical fitness, whether it's learning about new training plans/splits, new exercises and similar ideas, or even meal plans.
I will add here that currently I have been having pretty solid success thus far by using the hybrid powerlifting/strongman program 5/3/1 by Jim Wendler and have made definite strength improvements. I highly recommend looking him up on T-Nation and at least reading his articles (and even his books) if you are at all interested in strength training. Currently I’ve been trying out his Boring But Strong program, and am enjoying it despite its repetitiveness. 😅
I do admittedly have a difficult time with 'small talk' and thus tend to err on the quiet side in most social situations when meeting new people, but friends have noted that once you get me on a topic of discussion I find interesting in some way I can at times keep going and going and... 😉
I do tend to lurk on here, so if you would like to know anything else, please ask!
Weight lifting/strength training, martial arts/close-combat, reading/writing sci-fi and fantasy fiction, and playing the tabletop war games Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40K. I've also been a huge World of Warcraft addict for years now.

- Where am I ticklish?
- There isn't a single inch of me that is not ticklish or sensitive to some degree. A hairbrush (or two!) applied vigorously to my feet wrecks me...
