    yes i saw the news clip and understand she lost her teenage son not too long ago, a famous woman in her own right.

    I admire the women in us political circles they seem to play a bigger part than the british equivilant.

    I'am not an expert on US current affairs by a long way but i try to keep abreast of the basics.

    I visit us message board .com i had a friend on another site who is into the american legal system in a big way and we compare notes with some of the uk things, iam not at her level, but about 2 years ago she told me about the message board and i started to visit when i get time.

    My dad died of cancer 15 years ago and i,am 33 now so i always feel for people its a terrible thing cancer.

    I'am not aware of all things Elizabeth Edwards but just felt it was worthy of my comments hope you don't mind.

    yes i noticed because of the threads about the TMF..it does make it a bit busier here..i hope that some of those who have recently posted here due to the downtime of the TMF stay around after it's up.

    I am going to be a guest this year eating someone's turkey. I don't think I could cook a Thankgiving dinner if my life depended on it. I'm not well thought of as a cook. I eat a lot of frozen dinners.
