Our friend Bugman has felt a little blue these last couple of days, and, of course, since I consider him a very good friend I obviously worry. I couldn’t stop thinking about it as I went to bed this night, and as I lay awake I suddenly had an amazing idea: You are all gonna help me remind Buggy of how much we love him! That way, he’ll hopefully be a tad happier, and I can go back to sleep. This is an entirely selfish request on my part as the clock is approaching 5 am as I write this, so please help me out because I’m slowly going insane from insomnia! 😛

For those who don’t know Bugman, he is the king of Awesome! If you don’t know him you should immediately send him a VM or PM and say hi. He’s like the nicest person ever; I promise you won’t regret it! 😀

As for those of you who DO know Buggy, it’s time to show him some love! After all, that’s what the TMF is all about, right? The community! 🙂 What makes Bugman special to you? How did you get to know him? What do you appreciate the most about him? Share with the rest of us in this thread, or just write a couple of short lines to say that you support the “make Buggy smile” initiative! Maybe throw in a couple of expletives just for emphasis… :devil2:

As for me personally, Buggy was the first person in the Silly Stuff Forum to contact me when I made my debut there. I still have the PM! Normally it might not be nice to quote private messages, but he simply stated: “You seem like a nice guy, I enjoy posting with you” and the conversation carried on from there! 😀 Then I found out that we share the same passion for history, so we have been writing rants back and forth about historic events, and recommended books to each other, etc. The fact that Buggy loves history just makes him even more awesome in my book, and he’s definitely one of my best friends on this forum.

Another good thing about Buggy is that he really helps to improve the atmosphere around here. He’s just… friendly. I guess that’s the kind of guy he is by nature, and it seems to rub off on everyone else around him. If that isn’t epical, I don’t know what is! 😉

Anyway, I love you Buggy! (In a totally heterosexual way of course )
Now smile damn you, show me those gnashers before I start calling you names! 😱 😱 😀

Bugman is a great person and a true friend.

Here is a little smiley boogie breakdown in his honor.

I try not to comment too much, but...

Not just idly writing -- From all I've seen here, and that's more than enough,
he's a very caring person who goes out of his way for others
and always has a kind, relevant and constructive word.
Salt of the earth.

No way, I can stay out of this thread. You're a good guy, Casomyr, for starting this
I've been talking to Buggy online for years now and have met him at NEST 2007. He's a true gentlemen, the nicest guy you can imagine and - ladies beware - he's a great 'ler 😀
There is no way not to love this guy.
Hope you feel better soon, my friend :cuddle:

Buggy's a great guy! He even bought a round of drinks at NEST 2008.(With my money)

Truly a gentleman in all respects and I am proud to call him my friend.

One of the best we have here.....I am proud to call Buggy my friend.....

(and Tracy adores him!! )

I love bugman! He is my best friend. I remember that he had PMed me first. We started talking and our friendship grew.

He's always there for his friends. You couldn't ask for a better friend. :twohugs:

Bugman rulez. If I ever meet him I'm buying him a beer.

Or a glass of milk. 😀

Indeed, Buggy is too much of a lightweight to drink even one beer, and you do NOT want to see him drunk - he's the kind of drunk who wakes up on his neighbours roof, wondering where his pants are! 😱 ...actually come to think of it, I kinda WOULD like to see that! :cheesy: 😛

This thread has had a pretty good turnout so far, yay! 😀 Bugman is awesome! :yayzorz:

You don't meet guys like Bugman every day. He's a good guy and I am honored to call him friend. I hope the only Blues you have are on CDs, Buggy.

I already sent Carsy a pm telling him he is a dead man for starting this thread,so we can dispense with that here.

Seriously though, thanks all for the kind words and the messages.Just a bit of rough sledding at the moment, but like a kidney stone this to shall pass.🙂

Love you all.

...sorry to hear you may be a down...I always look at your posts because there is "heart" behind them. I missed NEST this year but plan to be there this year and would like to get to know you better. I hope you are encouraged by the thread here...obviously started out of love and concern for you...

Love you all.

Obviously you've made a huge impact on quite a few folks here, myself included. Someone felt you needed encouragement and some acknowledgement so enjoy the spotlight. You definitely deserve it!

And thank you for being the caring soul you are.....not everyone has someone who checks in on them to see if they're okay. It means more to me than you'll ever truly know........:twohugs: :Kiss2:

I first met Bugman back in 1934, when we were both standing in line to collect coal at the bank. At the time, I was a single mother of three lovely kids (Blueberry, Banjo and Fedora).

The kids were all whining and asking to check their Facebook messages on my Blackberry, but due to the economy I'd been unable to replace my solar Blackberry charger after it has been eaten by a starving tortoise.

I was just about at the end of my tether, when the kids suddenly hushed and turned to stare at a rather tall nun who had breezed past us to the front of the queue. She wielded her basket labelled "orphans" at the coal clerk, who shoveled an extra generous supple into the basket.

The nun leaned forward and whispered something to the clerk, who glanced in my direction, nodded, and slipped something into the nuns unusually broad hand.

As the mysterious nun walked past us again with her basket, she leaned over and, with a twinkle in her kindly eye, slipped a Blackberry charger into my Wonderbra.

That nun was none other than Bugman.

Thanks, Bugs!

Hey, you KNOW no good deed goes unpunished, right?

Bugman,
Whether you received a cryptic alternative backslap or a
sincere & well-deserved half-hammered exclamation
("I LOVE THIS GUY.... *SOB*....")
:gbtoast:

--Dontcha just LOVE it when friends & acquaintances embarrass you? :bugeyed:

But seriously--- DON'T KILL CARSOMYR
We need good press around here,
:dogpile:
(whereever "here is)
it's about time the Nice Guy/s made a headline.

So thank you for the excuse to celebrate,
:yayzorz:
I was actually quite sick of reading about half-cooked crazy-glued schmucks already....
