The Cabin in Granville Holler ~ Sketch-up no. 8

Another sketch-up test for my upcoming graphic novel, 'The Cabin in Granville Holler.' This time I drew very stylized and made use of the line tool. Surprisingly, I used to loathe the line tool but now I see there is a kind of Zen Archery to it. I actually enjoyed the process but it is excruciatingly slow compared to my other methods. I fear if I pick this style for the work, it will take a very long time to complete a single chapter. But my, my… how clean and crisp.

Here, Vicki finds out the hard way that 'Pa Yokem' is not what he seems to be.

As much as I like the outcome of this style, I really prefer the other one because it very much fits the theme. All in all, you simply are a genius! Keep 'em all coming! 😀 😀

I personally prefer this line tool style. It has a somewhat cartoonish look that I like very much. But all your styles are great, so you should go with what you're most comfortable with. I'm sure people will love the results either way.

By the way, it really doesn't matter, but why does the title say "Sketch-up no. 8" when it says "Sketch-up study No. 9" in the picture?

Thank you, Sir. Unfortunately comfort plays very little part in the workings at C.A.B. Labs... I like a good sweat shop
