Another great one. I wonder of video producers ever think about using your ideas. If they did, there would never be a shortage of good material. Great work.

C.A.B., I've always found your pieces to be pretty uniformly brilliant,.... as is this one, as well. However "Conservatory" brought a special smile to my face, and for reasons which go all the way back to Plato's defining of art as "imitating nature." What you have depicted, I've sort of experienced,..... not exactly, mind you,...... maybe better.

A few years back, I had a small recording studio in my house,..... 8 independent tracks is all,... but I had every reverb, echo and other sound modulation effect imaginable,.... So Susan and I made a mixed recording. She gamely provided four separate 10-min. tracks of her wild tickle-induced laughter (she was in the stocks and restrained extra firmly so she couldn't bump the mike). These four tracks overlaid together were enough to make it sound as if there was an entire room full of laughing ladies,... and the special effects, judiciously applied, added a note of surreal excitement to the finished product. On a fifth track, I put in a chilling synthesized pipe organ background,.. Bach, of course,... not too loud,..... and a sixth track held a few of Susan's (scripted) helpless pleadings and other verbal responses - not too much --- just enough to convey anguish.

It was great,..... kept a cassette in my car for long drives.

Doubtful. Sadista is nobody's fool.
 
At present my musical prowess is limited to guitar and bass, but that is one instrument id love to learn to play.....beautiful, devious and twistedly ingenious work as always!
