Liner Notes: Here is my homage to the men's pulp action and horror magazines from the 1940's through the 1960's. The cover almost always featured some scantily clad damsel in distress; set upon by crocodiles, mad scientists, reconstituted Nazis, monsters or any other kind of peril one could think of. For the most part there was no censor code for these rags and most of the scenes depicted were quite eyebrow raising for the day, but then again, these publications were set aside in the newspaper shop discretely for Dad, far and away from Mother's church going casual eye.
