Liner Notes: It always seemed to me that the late, great Don Martin always had a deviant fetish artist in him just dying to get out. Had he fled the oppressive comics-code environs of the slavish MAD offices earlier in his career, who knows where his most hilariously warped mind could have taken him… and us. Here is my attempt at an homage to MAD's maddest artist… with a full blown <i><b>Sssssssschlop! Sploit!</b></i> dollop of fetish.

Fantastic choice for a Classic,...... I was reading MAD around the time it first appeared in the mid-50's. Nice job with it, too. D.M. would b honored.

I had a subscription to Mad thru most of the 60's. This homage to Don Martin is fantastic!!

It seems that often your nostalgia is right in tune with my own. Not only does this piece personify the look and feel of the great Don Martin it provides me with a rush of very fond memories from my youth. Thank you for that.

One of my earliest memories of drawing is copying a Don Martin cartoon- complete with those wild, fold-over feet/toes and the trademark noses. I agree; I think don Martin had a hidden fetish streak buried in there somewhere and you have certainly captured his marvelously zany style. Thanks for the memories and the new spice. Excellent as always!

Many artists have a particular style, or several, but you never cease to amaze me with your ability to mimic any classic type of look or feel dead on. This was uber-cool, I would have read more Mad magazine when I was a kid had there been a few more scenes like this!
 
This is disturbingly brilliant...

Fantastic detail, right down to the fact that DM used to draw his women with stubbly legs.

Awesome... although I do feel slightly grubby for having seen it.
