I am curious and have to ask when I see a lady with a tattoo of a feather on her ankle or on her feet in any place it makes me think that she has ticklish feet. Am I wrong in thinking that. Why would someone have a tattoo of a feather on her ankle or feet if she was not ticklish on her feet. Just curious. Does having a feather tattoo usually mean a lady is ticklish on her feet? What do the members think?
 
Well, when people get tattoos it doesn't always mean that they're into whatever the tattoo is. Some people get at tattoo of something because it looks cool but it has no significance in their life. So a feather tattoo could mean that they have a foot/tickle fetish but not necessarily. You'd just have to talk to them and find out.
 
This lady I know just recently had this feather tattooed on her foot on the top and I saw it today. I asked her if it was a feather on her foot and she said yes. She said she just got it a few weeks ago. I said it looked cool, and she said Thank You. I may have to get up the courage to ask her why she got a feather tattoo, and maybe just tell her I have heard that most women who have a feather tattooed on their ankle or foot means they have ticklish feet and see what she replies. If she says she has ticklish feet then I will ask if she likes to have her feet tickled with a feather. If she says Yes again then I will ask her if I can tickle her feet sometime. By the way this lady has very pretty feet. She is late 30's to early 30's. I am older than that by about 20 years but hey I would still tickle her feet if she let me....LoL

Thus is an interesting concept. Sounds like something based from a MTJ issue. A society where ticklish women were made to get feather tattoos. The more feathers they have the more ticklish they are.
 
Since you asked the question then I'm assuming you don't know that to many people feathers are just another one of nature's beautiful wonders. And for some they hold a meaning or purpose that have nothing to do with tickling. I'm going out on a limb here and assume that for a vast majority of people when they see a feather they don't automatically think tickling.

As for me, if I saw a feather tattoo I would not assume it had anything to do with tickling. And after a little Google-fu, apparently most feather tattoos have a meaning behind them and tickling was not mentioned among the various meanings I saw listed. Much like how flowers, gemstones, and colors have various meanings associated with them which can vary between cultures.

By the way you could ask her "Why a feather?" or "Is there a meaning behind it?" But, I would recommend at this point simply asking "What's the meaning behind the feather?" or "Why did you choose that particular feather?"
 
Don't read too much into it and for God's sake don't bring up "I heard having a feather tattoo means you have ticklish feet"! Just ask her if it has a special meaning or why of all things she got a feather for. Maybe she just likes Forrest Gump!
 
The only woman I know who has a feather tattoo is a birder. (And don't call them "bird watchers.")
 
I know someone with 3 feathers tattooed on the back of her shoulder as a special tribute to her late brother. It's a long story and has nothing to do with tickling. I wouldn't read too much into it.
 
I have a feather tattoo and it's because I have a tickle fetish, but it's on my rib cage for a number of reasons (not just because I don't like feet tickling / prefer upperbody). Basically, I didn't want random dudes asking me if I was ticklish, could they tickle me, do I like being tickled with feathers, can they tickle me with their penis, etc because that is fucking creepy and weird and even though I enjoy being tickled most of the time, being approached by a stranger in this way would freak me the hell out.

Thanks for all your responses on this matter. I have not seen this lady again, but when I do I will ask why she got a feather tattoo.
