As a child I lived a few years in Okinawa and our house maid used to scare us with tales of Oni. Never did I expect to encounter him again, much less here in the fetishistic surroundings of the TMF! Perhaps its because it was so unexpected (like the proverbial boogie man jumping out of the closet) or because it unearthed a long dormant childhood fear or perhaps because it so perfectly blended my..ahem...adult tastes with juvenile fears but, my friend, this is the first thing to give me an outright chill down the old spine I've encountered in a long time!
