I love Deeto's stuff AND especially love detective noir, so this is the best news I've had today! I like the look of Joey, and I hope the glasses cutie in the cover gets some attention, too. Really looking forward to this one!

This is so cool. A new comic, noir style, with clues and a build up before its released. You guys really know how to build up expectations. Can't wait to see this private dick in action.

Oh, man. What a cool thing to say. Thanks, my friend. Like you, I totally dig detective noir. And I've wanted to do a dedicated detective noir comic ever since I did BOUNCE OF ACES all those years ago. BULLETS AND LAUGHTER is a ton of fun to work on (Joey Lynx exists in the same universe) but I liked the noir aspect so much that I wanted to do a comic in this universe that I was responsible for drawing.

And don't worry...Mouse (the cute assistant in glasses) will not escape the first issue un-tickled. XD And just wait until issue #2!!! WOO!!!

Joey is definitely bashfully ticklish. No doubt about it. You know these tough female detective types - they're all sharp quips and sarcastic raises of their eyebrows until they fall under a friendly feather. And then....uh oh!

And as for the eroticism...I mentioned this once on dA and will likely be saying it a lot...but Joey is kind of the female version of Poe. I think you will be quite 'satisfied' with her reactions to tickling. Let me just say that.

Hey, buddy. Thanks for asking! In this case I did all the coloring. I actually did everything in this comic which is rare (usually my very good friend White Lotus does the coloring - but she is very busy pursuing a fun new career option right now, and isn't around as much to help out). She still did the title text and the banner that we'll post soon. But I did everything else from writing, to pencils, inks, colors, and letters. Oh...and of course the awesome ChicagoAnnie did the editing. 🙂

Thanks again for the kind words on the color work though. I had a lot of fun with it.

I am such a tickling fiend that when I see bare feet I can only think of one possible outcome. XD But seriously, thanks a ton for saying that. I work on feet a lot (drawing them I mean).
