Seriously? I love it here because the people come from diverse backrounds and are some of the most well informed, articulate people I've ever come across. :triangle:
 
So many reasons. But most of all, this is the one place that I can go to and feel like I can really be myself. Most people feel as thought they can't talk to their family, friends and the like about tickling. Here? Not a problem. And it's more than just the tickle talk. It's also the random conversations and good friends you make as a result. I wouldn't give it up for anything.
 
Because a lot of people who've introduced themselves to me here are really cool and have been very insightful in regards to my interests.

Because it's really awesome to have someone else liking the same weird thing you like. 🙂
 
Because, aside from the occasional attention-seeking trolls, the entire TMF feels like an understanding, accepting family, not just an internets website - ESPECIALLY when you attend gatherings and events.
 
Because it is largely made up of kind, welcoming people and is a great place to make friends.

Because I can cut up with said friends in silly stuff forum or the Tmf radio chat.

Because I can continue to try to win at Sunday trivia despite more than a hundred losses to Avenger.

Because it's run by a group of very responsible, hardworking, earnest mods and admins that give an extraordinary amount of their time with too few saying thank you and too many bitching about their decisions over irrelevant trivial shit.

Because there are members here ^ smart enough to put trolls in their place.

Because despite the presence of a few bad apples, the vast majority come here to have fun.
 
I love the TMF because it gave me a place to post my stories, both fiction and nonfiction, where they can be read by people who "get it". That is, by people who understand my interests and have the same or similar interests. 😀
 
I've gotten to know some damn nice people here who accept me for what i am,warts and all.I have met some of them in person and there are many more i hope to meet in the future.Thats what keeps me coming back here,and one reason i am so glad this goofy wacky crazy forum is here.

It ain't perfect,but its not bad either.😀
 
I LOVE the TMF because it reminds us all that we share a certain passion for a certain activity, but it's just one of the many things that make us ... well ... us!

At the risk of sounding cliche, it's not just about the tickling ... we can talk about music, we can talk about politics, movies, what makes us happy, what angers and perturbs us

And yes ... we can talk about tickling.

I feel like a new person has evolved after becoming involved with the TMF. I've gone from not being able to "say the word", to going to my first gathering in six months. I have always had this interest inside of me, and was so scared to release this "inner beast" so to speak. The tmf made me realize it is okay, I'm not alone, and despite the fact that sometimes I still feel like a freak, I have become more honest with myself. Not only that, but I have met some of the greatest people in the world on this website. There are so many great things in this community for everyone! The stories, art, clips, tickling discussion, and various branches of general discussion are so diverse. I also like the fact that you can talk about things here. You are free to ask questions and state beliefs, and even though some people don't always agree with you, there is almost always at least one other person that has the same view as you. Yes, there are trolls and stalkers (I've had my fair share of them), but it would never keep me from coming back. Now it doesn't even matter, I've met so many great people that I don't even need this as a form of communication, I'm content with the people I've become close with that I would still go to NEST even if I stopped coming on here (which won't happen). So even though there are a few "bumps" once in awhile, overall, this community is run very well and is a blessing to so many people.

I love this forum because of all the wonderful friends I have made ...for the friends that let me act like me and be totally myself, for people that don't make feel judged....and for all the folks that have tickled me or let me tickle them...the gatherings, but mostly the people...
 
i like this site because its a place where we all can come to explore an interest of ours with people who relate to us! its like a big happy tickling familyyy🙂
 
I love this place entirely because the people are so amazing. You could have the exact same forum with the exact same subforums etc., but it's the people that run the TMF and the people who come here that make it so amazing.

I also love that most of the people recognize that although it's an interest in tickling that brought us together, and tickle-talk certainly has its place, behind the screenname we're all real people with an entire life outside of tickling, and most people are interested in getting to know that side of people as well.

Most people here are accepting, understanding, caring, and just plain friendly. :bouncybou
You can be yourself, state your oppinion, and know that you'll be accepted. :grouphug:
 
Never felt so at home anywhere else (except for maybe home).
