Mercy Mew discovers long-distance communication and has much to report: wedding bliss in her adopted town of Swillwell! However, not every would-be guest has received an invitation...

Note: any so inclined may sing the wedding song (starting on page 21) to the Civil War tune, "The Bonny Blue Flag". It was contrived to fit that cadence (more or less).

Thanks so much for your bright compliments! And sorry this installment took so long to deliver! I know it's desperately overdue... technical problems stood me up for an extra couple of months. Please don't worry that I'll ever deep-six the series... however long it takes to complete, I'm committed to it till the end!

Thank you, Rob! 😀 I'm elated that you're drawn to the storytelling aspect of this comic! My attempts at pleasing art and prose would be wasted if the narrative didn't take the reader to intriguing places, in the company of compelling characters who strive to accomplish things that resonate. I always pray that it does... mulling over story choices remains my primary concern. I'll constantly be on my toes (and everyone else's!) to insure that this journey remains inviting... we've countless leagues to travel yet, and I can't afford to lose anyone!

Ah, to leave for 3 months and come back to a new chapter
of the Low Roads, a better greeting I could not imagine. 🙂

The caterpillar like things were my fave part if you don't count what
the last panel tells us we're in store for in the next chapter that is. 😀

Welcome home to the TMF, TK! Your sunny presence was keenly missed in the Art Forum (likely everywhere; I'm simply more conversant with the Art Forum than other sections of the site)! Tabor County is most happy to have you back! Don't stray again, or it'll come looking for you!

Glad you liked the creepy-crawlies! Tabor's ticklers have always been rather organic in nature, as opposed to Cyberina's devastating technological terrors (well, one of us had to go green!) My rural upbringing doubtless prejudiced me for home-grown! Oh, and there'll be plenty in store for the next chapter! Think these last few installments were obese? I've just roughed it out... Chapter 17 is gonna be 55 pages long! Folks will have to read it in installments!

Hi Low Roads,

It took me a while to get into your stories and your unique drawing style but now that I am I am hooked.

Very well done, good story chapter that seems to be a great setup for some great ticklish action 🙂

Thanks very much, Tommy! Gotta admit, it took me awhile to get into my art, too (and it still isn't exactly where I want it to be... if I'm ever able to capture images the way I first see the in my mind's eye, I'll be a happy man!) The setup for the long-coming Swillwell raid is indeed complete... I plan plenty of exciting incident for Chapter 17! It may not be easy to work lots of fetish action into the middle of a war, but I have a handful of ideas which I hope will please! Your ongoing approval couldn't be better appreciated; I'll do my very best to see that future episodes of this comic continue to merit your support!

Terrific update as ever Low Roads. This new relationship between Mercy's sister and the pale chappy (Even when it comes to fiction, I'm useless with names ^^; ). Thanks very much for the rousing endorsement! I won't spill too many details about the developing bond between Sephie and von Smutt, except to say that such mutual support would a helpful, healing thing for them both (Sephie in particular), and like most useful working articles, it may not be easy to maintain. I don't want their relationship to be much less clash-filled than real life (an absence of conflict can make for dull reading); neither would I care to inject badly motivated discord simply to spice up the script. Fortunately, one can please with a middle path if he provides an intriguing approach.

And once again, superb use of language. Our own resident bard. 🙂

That's enormously kind of you! I'm terribly keen on Shakespeare's work (his "Scottish play" especially)... if I can assume the appellation "bard" to any extent, I'm most honored!
