Everyone I know loves a bit of toast at any time of day/night.

I'm nosy and wondered how you like yours...

- Do you like it buttered
- Do you have to wait for the toast to cool first before buttering
- Do you like jam/marmite/peanut butter/marmalade/honey/cheese/baked beans on the top
- Do you like it lightly toasted or cremated
- How many slices do you normally eat at one sitting
- Type of bread; white/wholemeal/seeded/fruit/nuts

I wonder if anyone can come up with some weird concoctions :excited:

I like mine slightly darkened, devoid of butter, with just a smidge of blackberry jam spead onto it.
 
I like it warm with either strawberry preserves or orange marmalade.

Warm, lots of butter to make it juicy. Ideally it should look yellow rather than brown. 🙂

Lightly crisped with strawberry jelly or jam.

I like my toast light brown with butter and strawberry jam or plumb jelly.:wahooo:
 


Toast takes too long. I just eat it right outta the bag. Wholewheat. When I do put something on it it's peanut butter. Has to be Crunchy.
 
Brown but not burnt, wheat bread, with a light layer of butter and apricot preserves.
 
I like might brown all the way around...White bread...with a little butter. 😀
 
I like it crisp, with a little peanut butter or some kind of jam. My buddy's family had a bunch of different fruit trees back home and used to send us homemade peach and strawberry and orange preserves, and they were always my favorite.

Not to light,not to dark.
Butter alone,butter with grape jelly,or peanutbutter alone.:triangle:
 
White bread, practically burnt with margarine and grape jelly. I've nommed up to 4 slices in one sitting. 😀

:hmm:It has to be lightly toasted, buttered sometimes, and it only can be jam or preserves on it, and actually only strawberry or black berry. Actually also like apple butter on toast. I was :eeew: sick last week for a few days and my S/O made me scrambled eggs and toast to get back to eating again, and I made him throw away the toast b/c it was too dark/cremated.:ranty:

Yes, I have to wait for it to cool before buttering, I normally eat 1 slice in a sitting, but sometimes I get crazy :dancingbanana::woot2::manicd:and have 2, but never anymore than 2. My bread has to be regular white, whole grain, but NEVER SOURDOUGH!! I hate sourdough.:xlime:
