Just so ya know, the pic Surfer Girl submitted is not of her. She's fraudulently portraying that person as herself. This I know for a fact. It got lifted off someones personal website. I happen to know that someone. So let the buyer beware I guess.

It's a sad state that in today's society so many people feel the need to hide behind someone else's identity.

I sure wish I looked like that. I did way back when but I sure don't now. What you see is what you get. Oh sure... we can't all look like models, who wants to anyway. But just be REAL folks. Be yourself. You are awesome just the way you are.

Thanks for the heads up Neutron.

You Are Welcome..

QB Weaver, I know I'll take some shit for bringing it up. SOMEONE will say it's none of my business, but hey I agree about stealing others identity, it's crap. Sad part is someone in here has probably already whacked off over that pic and now since she's obviously implanted in someones fantasy they'll hop to her defense. Again oh well.
By the way. I think you're PLENTY hot QB, and MIGHTY ticklish. I'm ready 🙂

Be Safe

Thanks Neutron. You're very sweet.

Blind but very sweet! LOL

not trying to inflame anyone but...

I think we have to be careful here.

No one should be guilty by accusation. Anyone of us could make the same (rather generic) claim about any pic shown. The claim may be true or false. If true, no one still has any validation of anything; many (myself included) probably don't even really care. If false, it could be false by mistake or by malice. And what could/would/should the defense be if it is false?

I really wasn't going to say anything at first, but IMHO no good can come of this kind of thread.

When I saw Surfer Girl's pic my first impression was that it was bogus. We had another fake pic up recently as well.
I always am a bit suspiscious when people who seldom, or never, post put up their pics. I have chatted with Surfer Girl in the chatroom some time back. If this IS a bogus pic, then it must be a way of attracting attention.
I remember before there was a TMF, that the big thing in the old messageboards were guys that pretended to be girls. I remember going back about 2 or 3 years that there was a guy named "Ace" who was exposed as a female impersonator. Pretty bizarre indeed.

We take identity theft very seriously.

If this image is indeed lifted from another website I will take action. Until then, I'll consider the matter open, but will not allow negative comments about any member until proof is produced one way or the other.

Neutron e-mail me with the site's address so i can confirm your claim. I'll post in this thread the result.

????

If that is true, it's pretty lame, cuz I've tried to get my REAL picture posted on here, yet it never makes it up, either I'm too stupid, or too ugly, or too both...lol

I gotta admit that photo of me ain't me. (summer of 2000)

Now I'm fat with hair growing long.

But I'm seeking motivation to get back to that image on the photo.

It took this thread to make me reveal the truth. 🙂

I keep tearing up the suit and the utility belt won't fit anymore.
Poor Alfred trying to sew the suits....

Hey I feel a little better, got that off my chest. 🙂

thank you for warning us

when i saw the pic in question, i said wow!
thank you for the heads up that it is a stolen pic.
now we know the character of the person who posted it.

Wall$treet, I'm curious as to why you were suspicious; Surfer never posts but she's in the chat pretty much 24/7, why does that make her any less "legit" than the rest of us? I have a pretty low post count myself and my picture hasn't been posted, does that mean I have something to hide, too?

My real question is, which is probably better left unasked (but I'm going to ask anyway) is what does it say about us, the forumers, when a picture of a (by generally accepted standards) attractive person is posted, and we immediately think it's fake? Why are such people considered "too pretty" to be real? Doesn't that inadvertantly make a smack on everyone else by basically saying only ugly people hang out in forums like this, and here's the proof?

Food for thunk...

I have to agree with Phineas on one point here. As Myriads stated, identity-theft is serious and will be investigated.

However, I've thought the same thing as Phineas regarding an assumption that someone's pic is fake just because of some bogus notion that looks play a part as to whether one would be here or not.

That would be a great way to scare away the pretty girls, guys.😎 🙄

You have made a statement regarding the veracity of another users actions.

In essence you are saying the user named surfer girl is a liar.

Back it up.

Send me and email at [email protected] that allows proves your claim by sending me to the source of the pic. Seeing as you know the woman it should be a snap. You have made a strong accusation. Now you need to provide proof.

Otherwise all this is, is an unwarrented attack on another forum member which we will not tolerate.

Again, just so I'm clear. If you are going to make a issue out of another users honesty then you need to be able to prove the fact. Do so.

Phineas-- I am not suspiscious because she is the "standard" of nice looking. I was suspiscious because of the recent "Jenny Koots" situation. There are other ladies who have posted pics that would certainly fall within the realms of the "standard" of nice looking, two immedietely coming to mind being Mia and Narin. We know that Mia and Narin are real people, so it is not at all hard to believe that an attractive lady would post her pic to the forum. There are certainly many other attractive ladies with pics posted here, and we know that they are real people as well.
Furthermore, I do not judge a forum member by their number of posts. I am not a moderator, so it is not my place to judge at all. I am merely expressing an opinion. There are plenty of members who I've seen in the chatroom who seldom, if ever post, and there's nothing wrong with that. Not everyone can be as long winded as we who constantly post, which is a good thing, because there are enough of us who babble on endlessly already.
We are unsure as to wether Surfer Girl's pic is bogus or not, as the proof has yet to be presented. If it wasn't for the recent "Jenny Koots" pic I probably wouldn't have questioned it at all.
Neutron seems pretty sure that it's bogus. As Myriads said, accusations should not be made without proof to back it.
One of three things will soon happen. Either Surfer Girl will show up to rebuke Neutron's claim, or Neutron will show up with proof, or NEITHER of them will present any proof at all, which means that this thread has been a total waste of time.

till proven guilty

two cents. its a rock and a hard place here. but as myriads stated no one should really be called a fraud unless the "caller" has undeniable proof. so at this point in time this surfer girl is innocent until proven guilty, imo.
but on a slightly different subject i see it all too often (actual frauds) and its no fun. if a person doesn't want to share their identity thats fine, no problem, but then its best they dont put out any photo at all. a photo of someone else is really silly to do, imo.
i recently had a conversation on yahoo messenger with someone who made me very suspicious of them. i wont go into detail but the things he/she said and asked and the way he/she acted made me 99% sure they were not even the same sex they claimed to be. so it happens, and happens a lot im afraid.
in another instance i was chatting on yahoo messenger and i looked at this girls profile, (with a supposed photo of her in it) and guess who the picture was? Priscilla! yes, this guy/girl was misleading everyone into thinking they looked like Priscilla James. that hit a personal chord with me and made me really angry. who knows the things that person says or does under the faked identity of Pris. needless to say i exposed him/her right away and guess what? he/she went offline instantly and the profile has been changed now.

in the big picture of time and space is it really important enough to lost sleep over? no. but in our little community its a direct slap in the face to mislead members in this community who feel so strongly about tickling and the part it plays in their life. anyone agree?
thoughts from the tibulator.

Not Losing Sleep 🙂

Just enjoying vacation in the Ozarks Then the Smokies.
So. someone steals my friends identity, AND then I have to FURTHER invade her privacy by proving it's in fact her? Think about it Myriads. I was quite shocked to see her picture on the net seeing as she pulled her website a couple months back because she got tired of the perverts emailing her and trying to track her down.
The RIGHT thing is to pull the picture. Note other very attractive females have posted their pics, and I've had no issue with them. In fact I don't even know Surfer Girl. So I have nothing against her outside she's trying to post a picture of a person I know, as being her. Again I could care less who she says she is, BUT the right thing to do is pull the pic. Sorry. the moral high ground can be a bitch but SOMEONE has to do it.

Tron

Tron-- Having this lady privately converse with Myriads would not be an invasion of her privacy. Posting her real name and contact info onto the forum WOULD be an invasion.
You can appreciate Myriads' position where he must be sure on his facts. You can't just expect him to pull the pic on your word alone.

No proof of image theft produced.

This leads me to believe that the claim being made is false.

The weight of proving such claims always lies in the hands of the claim maker. Otherwise all one has are just empty words. At this point no one has made any case as to who the image is really of. I have nothing to base any call upon. A URL sent to me of the 'real' image holder would have cleared this up in a second. Sadly the site that would prove this is gone. Damn isn't that always the way!

Given the lack of proof of fraud I'd leave the image up. The person who submitted the picture is given the benefit of the doubt.

But that is moot. Surfer Girl requested the image and her forum membership be deleted. So regardless of the truth of either side of the argument, it's done.
