Hi!
As some of you might now, I made a thread (http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?t=169183 ) here before called "What could it be", and asked for ideas of what my friends might surprise me with during my belated birthday. Well, now I know. 😀
(btw, I totally heard wrongly about the toothbrush thing, the sack and the rubber gloves. xD Or they just said it to confuse me.)
The day started with some missunderstandings about the time. It doesn't really matter what, but of course having to wait one and a half hour extra made me even more curious. During that extra time, I wandered around in the house, tried to solve a crossword to relax (not very successful though), logged in to the computer, logged off, wandered around some more and then finally saw two of my friends running towards my door (four of them had given me the surprise). This of course made me a lot more curious, where were the others? Were they going to kidnap me? What would happen?, etc.
I opened the door and said hi. They ordered me to go down the stairs, so I did and then they ordered me to turn around. I saw one of them had a rope in her hand. Then my other friend showed me a blindfold, and of course that scared me a little, yet still made me even more curious. She put it on, and then tied a scarf around it. I couldn't see anything. My other friend ordered me to put my hands behind my back, and tied them together. Then we started walking, with one of my friends beside me as a support. We walked for a while, and then I heard music playing. As a great coincidence the radio played a song from "mamma mia", a movie I really like. 😀
First I thought it was from an i-pod or something, but my friends laughed at me and said it was a car. I could hear my two other friends now. And NOW my head started to get really ballistic. You know all these kidnapping stories when they put you into the trunk/boot and all? Yeah, and since my friend just got here driving license that seemed pretty scary. xD Luckily enough they didn't put me there, just in the middle of the back seat.
Still with my hands tied back and with a blindfold on they started driving. It was really exciting, I didn't knew where we'd be going, for how long or anything. And they kept teasing me all the time and said things like "oh what a beautiful thing that was! Too bad you can't see it", "Look at that!". Gaah! 😛 With my usually extreme curiousity, you might be able to imagine how that was. It was like torture. xD But in a fun way, sort of. 🙂
Another kind of fun torture they did was to tickle my knees and sides. Luckily for me I had managed to persuade them to free my hands by then, but still I couldn't do very much with a blindfold on and sitting in the middle. 🙂 They said that they did it to keep me awake. And since I was talking like the whole time it was pretty easily for them to say "I just had to check if you were awake" as soon as I got quiet for a while. But it was fun, and I must say I'd definately support the theory about that taking away other senses makes you more vunerable since those you have are more awake. I never knew my knees could be that ticklish! :O
Anyway, we drove for quite a time.(approximately like 1 and a halv hour inlcluding a lunch break, which was the only time I were allowed to take of the blindfold). Then we arrived to the place we were going to. I had to keep the blindfold on all the way. We went upstairs, walked a bit and then arrived into some kind of dressing room. They took my outerwear and my handbag and left me sitting on a bench. After a while we walked further and suddenly we stopped.
Then they took of the blindfold, and I saw we were standing in front of a door. There was a note next to it, and by reading it I understood that it was some kind of a problem solving thing. I read a little further, and realized where we were. It's like an adventure place, where you have 18 different challanges and different levels. They levels are either mental, mental and somewhat physical or mental and strongly physical. It's groupwork while solving different questions, going through a obstacle course, and so on. It was SO much fun!![bouncybounce :bouncybou :bouncybou](https://www.ticklingforum.com/nonvb/smilies/bouncybounce.gif)
But the adventures didn't stopped there. 😀 Right before closing time (around seven PM) we went back to the dressing rooms and took our outerwears, bags, etc. I also had to put on the blindfold once again. We drove away and stopped pretty soon at a chinese/thai restaurant. Once again, I got to take of the blindfoold but this time already while entering the restaurant. My friends probably realized the embarrasment of leading me like that to the table with all those guests gazing, lol. 😛 We ate, chatted and had a very great time. 😀
When it was time to go, I pretty sure we were going home. So I got really confused when they once a again put on the blindfold. But by this time I had pretty much gotten used with it, lol. xD So we went back to the car, and drove further. Then suddenly we stopped. Three of my friends (everyone except the girl who was driving) got out. And then we drove further. I didn't understood a thing! Why did we leave them there? The girl driving wasn't (of course 😛) much of a help, she only said "you would like to know that, wouldn't you?". We drove and drove, round and round, and she played small games with me such as "guess how fast I'm driving now" or "am I turning left and right now?". I had pretty much given up wondering about the others, I thought it would be best to leave that to her. X'P
And then once again, she stopped the car and told me to get out. I did, and after I'd gone a few metres they took of the blindfold. And OMG! 😀 They had written my name and my ("new") age in the snow with like a hundred small candles. It was SO beautiful! 😀 As another happy coincidence, another of my favourite songs from "mamma mia" was played in the car by then. 🙂 It was amazing! 😀
Then we got back to the car and drove home again. I can't even describe in words how wonderful the day was. 😀 But I gave it a try. 😉
Hope you had the patience to read all this. 🙂 I just wanted to share the amazing experience with you. 😀 After all, you were the ones who helped me brainstorming while I was going crazy from all the curiousity. 😉 So thanks for that. 🙂 And thank you for reading. 🙂
