I was unable to include all the incident I wanted to in the last chapter of the Low Roads series. Page count had already topped 30, and a planned encounter between Persephone and Raven_kirsaen's character, Raven Drakil, would have pushed it past 50, a rather unwieldy length for a non-pivitol episode. This special mini-adventure corrects the deficit by detailing events which were only hinted at earlier (pages 30-32 of Chapter 21).

Sephie and Raven have developed a special friendship by guesting in their creators' respective comix series; today's offering is, in part, an answer to Sephie's involvement in Raven's shattering, deeply touching story, "Working Together", which can be found within Raven's TTC Artist's Forum. Anyone with a TTC account can check it out via this link:

http://www.tickletheater.com/showthread.php?t=53871

Some of Sephie's commentary here relates to that past encounter, as well as to the whole Tickler Raven saga generally. Those not up to speed on Raven's superb continuing fetish epic are strongly encouraged to head over to his Artist's Pad Forum and enjoy it all for themselves!

Wow...what a delightful mini (HA...by any standard other than the one you've spoiled us with this installment would be a chapter and then some) issue of my favorite and fond Low Roads Series!

YAY!

What a lucky Raven to be able to bring comfort to one so deserving. To be both a hero, and a tickler in the same chapter. I writhe in affectionate envy.

The epic battle herein was so much fun to spectate as it unraveled and entwined before a stage of varying perspectives. Your abilities as a storyteller continue to dazzle and ascend.

And (as I would be remiss in not mentioning it) the tickling is quite sublime as well. Sometimes it's those magical moments that need hours of context and prologue to make them so special. This is such a moment.

I wish I could lavish such praise as to make your wonderful contributions feel instantly worth while, but I know full well that an artist like yourself does these things because he needs no external gratitude. But I deliver mine none the less, humbly, and with a smile on my mask. Um...face. XD

Well done, amigo.

I love your stuff.

Your pal,

The Deet

YAY!
A joy, as always, to hear from you, most indispensable Bandit Prince! The Deeto deserves nothing but the most lavish ransom! Given with a thankful spirit, too, as the payment never fails to rebound with rich rewards! Like Robin of the Hood, he never hoards his bounty but divvies it so all may have a heaping portion! A lesson in free-handedness for everybody's benefit!

The Raven and the Bandito are not so very different; each is driven to give far better than he receives! In the Raven's case, his and Sephie's storied history has offered small moments of pleasure to compensate for much mutual pain. Sephie has been lucky to know such a formidable healer; her trials would have been much more punishing without his perspective as a compensation.

Thank you so much for saying so! Conflict makes for instinctively compelling drama, and my earliest comix stories are full of fight action! Those nascent layouts were all pretty crude, and I've striven to improve my construction of such scenes with increased visual interest (via varied points of view) and a sense of building continuity. Its bracing indeed to hear that my efforts have met with some success! As dustups will likely always play an important part in my storytelling approach, your praise provides the necessary encouragement to ever improve their quality! To those who'll find them pleasing, you now know who to thank!

This means a great, great deal to me! The tickling content is a little light in this chapter (it always manages to be outweighed by other aspects of storytelling in my comix); yet you never allow it to feel unloved! It's always my hope that context and careful buildup will elevate the fetish element beyond the disproportionate page count, to mean more because character resonance has been carefully established. Your special praise always permits me to believe that this approach is sound and useful! You know it well yourself, of course… character development in your Origins masterpiece and in the TIS graphic novels is as vivid realized as in anything I attempt! All the more reason for your compliments to mean so much!

I wish I could lavish such praise as to make your wonderful contributions feel instantly worth while, but I know full well that an artist like yourself does these things because he needs no external gratitude. But I deliver mine none the less, humbly, and with a smile on my mask. Um...face. XD

While it's true that my major reward lies in the fun and satisfaction that comes from the creation of these comix, it's nearly impossible to imagine them anymore without your most reliably generous, lavish appreciation! Your kind words become intrinsic to my memory of the storytelling… I'll never be able to think of them except in concert with my gratitude to you! The generous Deeto has never allowed my submissions to feel anything other than most worthwhile and appreciated; if they continue to have value, you're a major measure of the reason why! The Deeto's mask is made of purest gold, a reflection of his shining spirit! My thanks to you, my friend, for all the things you offer and for all the things you so warmly encourage others to offer! Our Community and world would be so much poorer without you!

Fantastic Stuff as always Low Roads. Love all your stuff, and love this story.

Part of me hopes it never ends. Wow.

Truly an iconic part of the tickling community!

Rob

Thank you so much, Rob! Your generous compliments are deeply treasured, always! So very gratifying to hear you call my contributions iconic… it's my fondest hope that they'll leave a lasting, distinctive impression! And at the glacial pace I produce new material, the submission process may indeed never end! XD I promise to keep plugging away; persistence may triumph over a sluggish production schedule!

Great stuff, Low_Roads... *curtsy*

I am always amazed on how you keep up the style as consistent at that, and it's like you have infinity in your pocket. The creativity is just flowing and you deliver it with such sincere enthusiasm for so many TK readers. As I have noticed complexity in your sequential arrangement, angles, palette, contrasts and techniques, it has been the test of time. It's always been action packed and expressive fun characters, multitudes.

Thank you for the continuous contribution.

*bows with humble gratitude*

So very kind of you, Bohemianne! It's easy for me to maintain my enthusiasm when TMF readers such as yourself (and a spectacularly accomplished artist and author, too!) are so lavish with inspiring support! I'm most happy that you find my offerings pleasing; I've been fooling around with comix adventures most of my life, but that was mostly to satisfy my own raw appetite for creativity. It wasn't until I started this series and began to receive encouragement from other respected Community members that I began to pay particular attention to quality control, to craft something that others might also like to enjoy. If the Low Roads series is worth reading, it's because you've made it worth creating with as much care as I can manage! My thanks to you for that!

Great mini adventure Low Roads.
Thanks a lot, Rajee! Glad you like this new chapter (well… half chapter)! More to come soon (well… in a couple of months, anyway)! Looking forward to your own latest!

fantastic work as usual!
Thanks very much, Wish! Very pleased this story could satisfy! Hope to see more crazy adventures from Fuzz, soon!
