Well, Tuesday night I was watching on of the local stations and they came on with their news trailer for the 11 o'clock. Stupid story, stupid story, then image of a womans foot being tickled...and the story local girl gets tickled at movie theatre. Well, I just had to check out the internet story the next day....and sure enough the girl did what every one of us fantasizes...put her feet over the seat in front of her at the movies...wearing flipflops...she says the guy went out of his way to sneak over and tickle her feet.

I wasnt aware ticklephiles had negative reputations...the only ticklephile stories I ever see are here. I know creepy idiots that have negative reputations...if they just happen to be ticklephiles its not the same thing.

She got what she had coming. You're not SUPPOSED to put your feet up on the seats. I don't come to your church and pee in the holy water...... Used to be the staff would come into the theater and do a walk-through once or twice during a show and that's one of the things they'd get onto people for. Now they've stopped doing that (for the most part) & people talk on their damn cell phones in the movie! Poor little princess. I hope she can move on somehow.

Besides - THIS is news in Detroit ? Did like, gas prices, the war(s), cancer, etc. just go away? Come to Longview TX where every news cast has a meth arrest story - you'll be wishing people were only getting tickled in theaters. I shot a story just today about a guy who stabbed someone in a bar and then stabbed himself in the neck after a police chase. That's how to get rid of the negative stigma of country folks, I guess. The reproter I did the standup with is actually from Detroit and he said he left partly because of the crime. Guess he just couldn't handle all that tickling going on there in 5 second increments throughout Motor City.

wtg OddJob.. i'm with you one hundred percent. what a dumb thing to report on..and i love your sarcasm. so true, a girl putting her feet up on the chair in front of her? how rude.. and talking on cell phones in movies, now that i hadn't heard yet, but it doesn't surprise me one bit.

It happened to me both in "Kill Bill" and "Star Wars: Attack of The Clones". I think even a third time. What the guy did was wrong. What she did was wrong. Blowing the event out of proportion is wrong. The cost of movie tickets are wrong. Everywhere one looks on this: wrongness!

Ok, I get the boundaries thing gang, but there are plenty of quality people out there with weight problems and/or who are losing their hair. Why does what he LOOKS like come into play? YOU think you're going to be gorgeous your whole life? Guess again friends...

Oddjob...he probably left Detroit for the lack of tickling. What I'm guessing made it news as well was that it was a racial tickling. Poor white girl couldn't handle it. And yes, the sensationalism over all the other problems in the country and state was just ridiculous as well. That's why I don't even watch the news...but the hook/filler was a pair of womens feet being tickled!

Remember that commercial where the bridesmaids were making fun of how short the groomsmen were? I wonder how succesful that commercial would have been had it been the groomsmen laughing about how fat the bridesmaids were?

Looks ALWAYS come into play when folks speak first, think second.

I'm not defending the guy or saying he's not an asshat. I'm just, I dunno, a little sad about how obsessed people get with looks. They forget what REALLY matters, you know? I mean you can actually BE a supermodel and still be a total shit as human being, I know a lot of people like that, and I have zero respect.
