Okay all, now its time to put up or shut up!!
Ive created the fantasy football league, enough for 12 players. Id like 12, but if we got at least 10 It will be good.
Ill be posting some more info in other threads, such as hints, tips etc for 1st time players and maybe the cause for a little debate.
But here is the info to join the league,
go to yahoo..at this link

If you dont have a yahoo ID, create one.
Once you click on Join a league...it will ask for a League ID....

Create you team...the LIVE DRAFT is set for Mon, August 7th at 10:30pm.
Check the settings and get a feel for it.

Ill be looking forward to having a lot of you there.

Remember a prize will be provided by me......

By the way, I can make changes to the scoring and postions up to the draft, if there are any suggestions, make them in the league or in this thread.

offensive postions are now....
QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR/RB flex, K

I cant seem to get into the league...it says the league is not in predraft mode.

I just tried to enter into it, I didnt have a problem.

Be sure to only enter the league ID #
and the password

look at the first post for the number
and the password....do not use the quotes on the password

I tried again.....didnt have a problem.

Here's what I did.
I went to yahoo sports, then clicked on fantasy sports. On the title page I clicked on (SIGN UP NOW) and then at the next page I clicked on Football 06, not Football Plus 06. That might be the problem
Click on the Football 06 below that one.
Click the blue words Join a League

Then follow it through.
If your still having problems, PM me your yahoo ID, and Ill just send you an invite from the league which by-passes all that stuff.

That goes for anyone else.....
If you have a problem, PM me you Yahoo ID and Ill send you the invitation.

Good DEAL!! I set the draft for 10:30pm....hopefully thats late enough to get enough people on...however I can see if I can set it back to 11pm if that might be more helpful for anyone.

ok, I registered the Boyertown Badasses. Now, I gotta figure out what to do about the draft. I'm at work until 1:30am, though I'll be off every Wednesday starting on the 9th until Sept 6. Looking forward to being in as long as I can get in the draft.

Hi Slacker2114:

In most fantasy leagues I've been in, you can still participate in a live draft even if you are not available when the draft occurs.
If you already knew this please forgive me, I just did not want to see you miss out on participating if you can not make the live draft.

If you pre-rank your players the best ranked player will be selected for you when your turn comes up. If I am wrong on this, someone please correct me.
This is my first time on Yahoo Fantasy Football.

My team is Pegasus and I'm not sure if I can make the live draft either.

Much appreciated on the info, walter. This will actually be my first fantasy league as well, so any info is helpful. As it stands, I'm working on a plan with Rob, so most likely I'll be in. Thanks again.
 
OK, so I get home in time for the draft last night and CAN NOT sign in. I was seriously bummed! LOL!

This morning, after a good nights sleep and recovered from the heat and humidity, I realize I WAS signed in and kept trying to REJOIN the league! (Ya know, I should drink or smoke dope as much as I do stupid things like that!)

Thank goodness I had my predraft setting ready...looks like I did ok.

Prepare to be humbled! LOL!

I must admit, I was fairly happy with how my draft turned out. Not bad at all for not even being here. I got the def I wanted and a lot of players that I wanted. The only thing that troubles me is only having 2 QBs, one of them being Mark Brunell :ermm:

Ah well, plenty of time for trades and what not before the season starts and the Boyertown Badasses start pwning you losers...heheh
