Hi all,
Continuing my post about open-personals.com , here are the guidelines as to what the questionnaire should look like.
It is most vital that there will be a cross gender and preferences input here: from lers and lees, males and females, “hard core” and “soft core” people, etc. If you are willing, please write in the body of your post what you are (male/female/lee/ler/whatever). This will allow for better understanding of the different prefernces, I think, and will not demand endless browsing through your profiles here.
This questionnaire should serve you ALL eventually, and the time to influence is now. Also, the more people take part, the better it will be, I am sure!
Those shy too write it on the forum are most welcome to contact me by the PM system. Your voice is important, so it is better than not making any sound... however, if you write that in the forum – people can respond, and a debate may evolve, so it is prefered...
One other thing: I hope you all realize that this questionnaire can not be a long, endless, "where and how much you are ticklish" thing. If we truely want to be able to make it useful on the one hand, and not threatening to everybody who are not absolutely tickle-fanatic like us - on the other, we have to be really thoughtful about it.
I have my own suggestions, and I will post them in a while, peobably after some input from you is reacieved first.
(Guidelines below as written in guidelines doc)
General guidelines for writing a questionnaire:
The power of Open personals is that there is a diversity of people around, and your “community” is hence represented and exposed there to the general public. We urge you to define a questionnaire, however we ask you to follow the below guidelines.
Please remember, that this questionnaire is also aimed not just toward people that “absolutely and utterly” into whatever you are into. Or, that they are “into it” (once again – whatever “it” is) in a different way, or to a different level. Please find a way to ask the right questions in a user-friendly manner.
Each questionnaire can be made of:
1.Up to 10 different multiple-select questions:
I.Presented in the questionnaire form as checkboxes.
II.You have to define the text for the question.
III.You can define up to 32 different possible answers to this question.
IV.The user will check ALL the answers that apply to them.
V.Two of those questions will be defined as “searchable”*
2.Up to 10 single-select questions.
I.Presented in the questionnaire form as a drop down list.
II.You have to define the text for the question.
III.You can define up to 32 different possible answers to this question.
IV.The user will select ONE of the options defined
V.Two of those questions will be defined as “searchable”*
3.A free-text field
I.You have to define the text for the question.
II.The user will type in their answer.
* The two questions defined as “searchable” are parameters the search form will allow you to search for users by. The search form allows you to search for a user that “checked any of the following answer(s) (“this”, “that” “or that answers”..) in response to the question ”X” in questionnaire “Y”.
Now..
