Another Record of Lodoss War Update!

Update 5/23/03-

- Uploaded 1 picture of Pirotess to both the Files and Photos
section.

Again, short and sweet. I'm sure you regonize her from last time.
Its Pirotess, the Dark Elf, lying down and beckoning you to come
closer. This is only my second time drawing her. For this one, I
felt it would look more comfortable for her to not be wearing her
gloves, and to have her hair free, and flowing rather than pulled
back. ^___^

I hope you all like it. Enjoy. Comments, questions, and concerns are as you

Thank you very much, my friend. I was going for the sultry/sexy/temptress look with her this time. Which is why shes not blushing. I'm glad you like it. I drew it today. Or rather, I drew it yesterday but scanned and uploaded it today.

The next time I draw a Lodoss War picture, I want Deedlit and Pirotess to be together in it. And if it looks good enough, I'll probably draw some tickle pictures after that. I always need to gauge how two characters will look together first, before I draw anything else.

Thank you. But its not just her finger thats superb. Pirotess has a killer body, and an ample bosom, which I wanted to show off a bit in this picture. It helps the situation. 😉 😀

I've already got such pictures figured. I already know what I'd want to draw, its just a matter of finding suitable attire, given the time period. Flowing, translucent gowns were in style, and I may use that, but I need something a little more risque. I can't use bathing suits, since such things didn't exist the way they do now. People swam in the buff, and I don't want to draw nudes just yet. I need some medium to work with.

Have any ideas?

Well, its really hard to say. It could be before or after "the King Arthur" era. I'm not quite sure its medieval either, that seems too late. I want to be as historically accurate as I can about the clothing. Its not just about how sexy the costumes or outfits are.

I'll also create my own clothing and outfits too, but I want them to be based on clothing of the respective time period. Theres a fan picture for example of Deedlit in a bikini. And while it does her justice, it implies shes living in modern times, and that sort of demimishes the fantasy of it all. Theres also another one of Parn and Deedlit where Parn is dressed in a tuxedo, and Deedlit in this modern dress. That picture is very nice, but again, it takes them out of their element. Theres also one thats way out there. It has Ashram as a race car driver, and Pirotess as the flag girl. Again, its a great picture, but it puts them out of their element.

What I want to do is have them where clothing which is complimentive of their time period, and then go from there. Having Parn and Deedlit in America as it is, sitting down on their modern couch, in their modern house, and watching a thing called "telivision" and a man named "George W. Bush" talking about a distant land called "Iraq" led by a "communist" who uses "chemical weopons" is just too bizarre, albeit, funny.

And Lodoss, Marmo, Crystania, and Alecrast (and other unexplored regions) aren't even on Earth. They are on a planet called Forcelia. I have no idea why the japanese decided to do that. It makes them seem even MORE foreign, out of date, and even alien then they were already. They make these lands and time period, and everything about them to be of european influence, and yet they aren't even on Earth!

This might be harder than I thought. I might need an artbook or something, rather than pictures of old style paintings. What I need is something more of a reference than information.

I don't have the time to do that, I'm busy packing these days.

I'll probably just hold this off for now. Right now I'm drawing another picture of Maya. I haven't drawn her in a long while. Although at this point, I'm not sure if I'll draw her alone, or with Ritsuko. In some ways, it would look better for her to be alone, but then two characters are double the charm..

You should know though, this picture won't be showing they're feet. In fact, its pretty much a "normal" picture. Although it sets the stage for the type of pictures everyone here wants.

I was thinking of adding her in anyways. I want to start drawing more paired and group pictures.
