Ok, here's what I came up with on how to run a weekly football pick thread (or series of threads as the case may be).
This thread is only the rules! DO NOT POST PICKS TO THIS THREAD!
Each week, I will post a thread with that week's games listed.
Copy and paste the schedule into a new post and add your picks. Simple. Picks can be made up until the Saturday Night preceding the Sunday games. (In the event of Thursday and Saturday games, I will adjust the times accordingly.)
Included will be a "TieBreaker" score. Simply pick how many points you think will be scored by BOTH teams (total game score) on the Monday Night game for that week. The pick closest to that total will break any tie for that week.
Updated Rule: Please pick a tiebreaker score different from everyone else's. We've already had a week with co-winners due to identical tiebreaker picks. These need to be definitive tiebreakers. Also, in the event of evenly spaced score picks, the one closest without going over will win. For example, the combined total of a Monday game is 40 points. Person A picks 38, while Person B picks 42. Person A wins.
Please try to keep each post on-topic and post only your picks. Comments are fine as long as they are within your post containing your picks.
This is for FUN and BRAGGING RIGHTS ONLY!!! Any posts involving monetary wagering will be removed.
