This is a preview clip of Denisa, one of www.ticklish-teens.com first premiere models. Pictures of this young woman can be found at http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=53520

Here is a preview clip of Denisa.

Here's where it gets confusing. Even though it's a promo clip for TickleTown, she never shows up on that site, she only can be found at www.ticklish-teens.com. We made the clip before we even knew about the new site.

I have received a couple emails now saying that members can't see our new encoding method. They're getting audio, but the video is jumbled and skips around. If any of you are having these same problems, can you let me know by either posting here, or emailing me? I'd appreciate it. I'm trying to narrow it down whether it's the members' system setups, or if I've screwed up the encoding.

Regardless, enjoy the clip!

Yeah dude there is defintely something wrong with the video clip. It shows the very begginning pic (her with like a purple background and says ticklish-teens on boottom) then you hear her like laughing and stuff, but get nothing video-wise. What a waste of twelve minutes for me. Oh well, at least you know the video is screwed up so u can fix it.

That mirrors what I've read from the other two emails. One of the fellows had a p2 system, and it most likely couldn't keep up.

I'll need to do some thinking on this, then. Re-encoding at this point would take a huge chunk of time. But if a large part of the community can't see the video, well then, that's kind of defeating the purpose I guess.

And here I thought hi-res video files would be a great thing 🙂

And thanks for the PM Biscuit, it will help quite a bit.

I have the same problem. all i see is a fuzzy screen and hear the sound thats it. Same with tc vids. What a pisser! Why cant i play any of these new clips? I even have a new up to date computer.

This statements tells me quite a bit.

I've received some useful emails/PMs from a lot of people. I want to thank Francois from Last Laugh and Biscuit for their input. It actually helps a lot.

I'm going to do some soul searching this weekend. I just bought a new camcorder. The one we've been filming with is older than dirt; it's still digital, but from 1998 and beginning to show its age. So I wanted to be able to bring folks higher quality stuff than we've done before, and present it in much higher resolution than I've historically done at TickleTown. And in addition to that, I'm in the process of building a system that's going to be my primary encoding machine. So once I get that up and running, I'm going to need to make some decisions about the direction I want the videos to head.

I want to present quality, but I want them to be accessible, too.

Windows xp professional, 256 mb, 4 gig proccessor, 60 gig hard drive. I think that should be good enough to play the clips dont you?

The newest most up to date. I even just had it check for online updates and media player told me that i am running the most current and up to date media player version.

either a software version or codec problem, as you've certainly got the hardware. What version of Media Player?

I've been in touch via email with the first person to report viewing problems. He says he was unable to view the files with Media Player 10 (which is incidently what I use to ensure the files are working), but all his files worked with Media Player version 9.

He's also using a program called ACDSEE, which functions primarily as a picture viewer, but also plays .wmv files. And he says our files work fine with it.

That's bad news about Media Player. Be default, we've been telling everyone to make sure their media players are the most up to date versions available. And now that advise may not be the best option.

From the other fellow:

I am using Windows XP, 633 Celeron processor,384MB RAM,on board video card with 32MB memory. Not much, but it still plays your videos fine with ACDSEE. But NOT Media Player 10.

Oddly, it DOES play for me, even though my computer is OLD (98SE, old Celeron processor, Media Player 9.0). It's a bit choppy, I think 'cause my processor is struggling to keep up, but it does play.

they do not currently make 4 gigahertz processors....

Oh , ok, i did my own system check, its 2.4 gig. And should it matter? If it was a 2.4? or a 1 gighertz?

DivX played it fine.

Audio wasn't timed with the video, but it played all the way through just fine.

Worked fine for me.
XP home
512 meg
2.4 gig Intel
Media Player 8.00.00.4487

The clip worked ok for me. It was awesome.

Thanks, glad to hear you liked it 🙂

We still haven't come to a decision on the video files yet. When we get our equipment up and running, we're going to try a few things. I want to keep the resolution high on these files if I can, but still make them accessible.

Thanks for everyone's help!
