Will it be the Rams, Steelers, Raiders, Packers, Dolphins, Bears, Jets, 49ers, Ravens, Buccaneers, Saints, Seahawks, Broncos, Eagles, or the Patriots Super Bowl??
So many good teams to choose from! 😱
Who do you think will make it this year??😎 😀

Well, I'd like to see the Saints and Raiders make it, seeing as how my Vikes and Seahawks are pretty much done.

Now, I know that gambling is wrong and illegal, right guys? (Everybody now....RIGHT DAVE!!!). But If I were to be laying money on it I'd have to go with Steelers/Rams...

...although there is a chance at Raiders/Bears.😎

staying near the trunk of the tree

Well, I've been a huge Bronco fan for 25 years now, but I don't think this is their year (too many injuries). I don't like to throw in the towel, but it is looking pretty bleak. While I'm not in the predicting business, I'll have to go with the two former L.A. teams- Raiders/Rams. I'd love to go out on a limb and say Tampa Bay, but it is far from guaranteed that they'll even make the playoffs; if they do, they'll undoubtedly have a tough road ahead of them. I do think that they, or perhaps the Saints, could eliminate the Rams if they met them in the playoffs, however. The Bears and Packers would obviously benefit from home field advantage (and cold weather) in the playoffs, but the Rams have the inside track at this point. The AFC is, I believe, even more up for grabs. I don't see where any of the six potential playoff teams couldn't rise up and make it to the Super Bowl.

Oh Yea

GO BEARS!!!! (well hey, I sure as hell wont get anywhere with the cowboys....😀 )

Tell me about it guys....

This American "football" season, it seems to last about 5 minutes, no one in the team is capable of doing more than one task, no teams get relegated, and they cover themselves in body armour. I would like to see these guys play Association Football or Rugby Football, I reckon they would be crying for "mummy" in 2 minutes.

Well

You know red indian, for the first time, I agree with you! Rugby is tough!!! I do think you would like American football though!!! Just don't watch my hometeam!!! ......they suck!!! lol 😎

cheers krokus...

I do watch American Football, but like you guys with cricket I need a few lessons in the basics in order to get to grips with it.

Sigh....

Not sure about you guys, but I'll be watching the thing in 2002....lol. Q

Now that the first round of the playoffs are done, who has the best chance now??? 😀

Living in Wisconsin all my life, I am obviously a devoted cheesehead clear through, and I would be in total awe if they made it to the Superbowl. But I am also realistic, and given the fact they have to go against the Rams on Sunday, IN St. Louis....well, I'd have to put my money on monkeys flying out of my butt over a Packer victory.

So with that said, my pick for the Superbowl would be Rams vs. Steelers. :sowrong: :sowrong: :sowrong:

i also see the steelers and rams going to the super bowl...i'm rooting for the steelers..i grew up in Pa. plus they dont seem to be caught up in the revolving door of coaching carousels.

SAINTS.......

Jo....sighing with a long away look in her eyes.....

JoBelle, you're a Saints fan, too? Let's see...she's ticklish, she reads good sci-fi (hell, she reads ), she's a Saints fan, she's cute...

...Huh? Oh, yeah...anyway.🙄 The first round went pretty much as predicted, even though Pack/49ers could have gone either way. This is one of those years where they should have just jumped right to the Championship games. There really aren't any strong wild-card teams. I could see the Pack possibly upsetting the Rams (possibly, if the Rams make mistakes...about 5,789 of them), but I just don't see anyone overcoming the Rams this year in the NFC. AFC-wise, smart money is on Pittsburgh, but even though I hate to say it, New England seems to be one of those teams that just quietly gets around whoever they play.

Champs are BACK

The RAVENS are back, as evidenced by their trouncing of the fins. They WILL be representing the AFC in New Orleans. Let me just also take this oppurtunity to say what an AWESOME thing it is to have football back in Baltimore. We really got screwed when Irsay literally snuck out of town back in 84. Then we REALLY got screwed when the expansion teams were given out- to CAROLINA AND JACKSONVILLE!?! But as we later found out our deal was too sweet to give to a new ownership, some of the old owners wanted this deal for themselves. So we got stuck with having to "steal" the Browns. I use that term loosely because they got to keep their name and colors. Johnny Unitas is in Canton as an Indianapolis Colt, yet he is on the Ravens sideline every week! How would Cleveland feel if all of Bernie Kosar's passing records were now "Baltimore Brown" passing records? This is the reason Baltimore as football fans still have a good sized chip on our shoulder even AFTER winning a ring. Sorry for the rant and the history lesson but I had to get it off my chest. (again!) Enjoy the playoffs everyone! GO RAVENS!

Peace

 Thanks Dave! Hehe If I go makin' a list like that about you, the guys will tease ya forever. (giggle) Let's just say that light saber goes a long way with me....I still have my Star Wars toys from when I was 5 years old!!! LOL

You know, I can sit through a million losing Saints games and still love them! Funny, I'm in New Orleans all the time and while others are walking around thinking about the French Quarter and such, I'm looking off at the Dome thinking....Ahhh...echoing sounds of those who love the underdog!lol Add to this the fact that my father has been trying his best since my birth to teach me "the rules" of football, I only worry about the basics...Don't grab the other guys face mask and try to score a touchdown!! BUT...it makes me happy and I like the games just as much as the next person! The rest is politics to me. 😉

The Ravens? Ed, you cut me to the quick!

The Raven are always a formidible team with that defense...but Shannon Sharpe talks more than he scores and I don't think Miama gave them as tough a running game as Pittsburgh is capable of. So my money is on the Steelers (if we were gambling that is!😀 )

Only probelm I see is a guy like Brady in NE who runs around and makes stuff happen can give the Steelers fits...and the Raiders can suddenly remember they are a veteran team...or Baltimore could have a couple big plays. Anything can happen!

BTW...been a saints fan since 1984...yes, BEFORE they had a winning season! LOL!
