A big thank you to Master Touch and La Pixie for a well-organised bash in Waterloo, London last night. It was my first tickle gathering so I (and I think a few others) were obviously a bit nervous but everyone was really friendly and v cool - it was like meeting people I already knew! Ish - I have caught up with your ramblings on TMF - you are clearly a legend already!!!
So the night itself - for those who couldn't make it - consisted of multiple rounds of drinks in a separate area away from the bar upstairs at the pub.
I nearly died after introducing myself to the wrong group! 😱 A half drunken mob who had been watching the football on the big screen and were on their way out!! Could have been embarrassing had MT not rescued me!! Thanks for that – I owe you one!!
So there were a dozen or so who turned up - similar I understand to the last gathering - about 4 girls and 8 guys from as far afield as Gloucester and Southampton. After a few drinks and introductions we started chatting about tickling and our experiences - whether we're lers or lees - and postings on websites like this one! The real difference though - and I've found this in the wider world of fetish also - is that the people are easy going, funny, and just pretty cool. You're also not left wondering if the person you're speaking to is really them – obviously!! (can’t believe I actually wrote that!) Apparently there were some ice-breaking games prepared but as it turned out we didn't really need them.
As MT said - no play at these events - and perhaps some time in the future, if more come, it would be nice to introduce it in some playful random way. 😛oke3: But it is a great way of meeting people without any pressure too – so I wonder what others think? For me - unlike the online world - I'd be much more happy to meet up with people now I've got to know them a bit rather than straight off from the forums, and I think that's the aim of these events... leave the St Andrews Cross at the door!!
So that's my first post! My handle by the way was bestowed upon me from Mercy (cos I smile too much apparently!!)– whose red bonnet looked stunning! Definitely you’re colour! And a rather cool MySpace site I’ve since discovered too!!
Thanks again to organisers Master Touch and LaPixie - they don't call him master for nothing!! … top drawer .. roll on Number 3!
