life can be nice sometimes. after going 12 long, LONG, LONG years of watching teams like the Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs winning titles, the Los Angeles Lakers have won 3 STRAIGHT TITLES. the Jersy series was great, at least for me. no drama, just wins. no heart attacks, just kicked back and enjoyed the ride. what's more enjoyable is the Lakers are looking for more.
the SWEETEST thing is listening to the Kings cry and moan. fellas, you choked on your own home floor in game 7. stop bitching about game 6, because you told us to stop bitching about game 5. and as Shaq said at the parade, "Sacramento fans will realize that they are no longer the capital of California. Los Angeles is." ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
but the Lakers have a great opportunity to really set history next year. they will actually be more focused. think about it. they are trying to get Phil his 10th title, and if they 4-peat, that will really set them apart from a lot of teams. watch out for the purple and gold in 2002-2003.......man, life can be good.
