Thanks for your replies to my previous post. I'm having lots of fun creating these things, and I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying them as well.
Today's post is bank-robbery themed, which is another ever-popular scenario. Real burglars and robbers would probably bring in heavy equipment like power drills, explosives &c. - in this case, the "heavy equipment" is very much different, but -in the end- at least as useful.
Fact of the matter is, that I still haven't learned how to do ropes (and in particular: knots) properly, which would have been the obvious choice (a nice hogtie or something along those lines). I understand that the topology of knots is of paramount interest to a special branch of mathematicians. I'm not a mathematician, and I'll have to work out an entirely non-mathematical way to do it. I hope you'll like my metal contraption anyhow.
