I saw the hooking demo done at the very first Fetish Ball in Dallas, about '91 or so. It was an amazing thing to see live. The pain is not as bad as it looks, because of the flexibilty of skin, weight balance ratios, etc.... but, you know - it's still bad enough!!!

I discussed this issue with another heavy player, strictly dom, who is also into tickling, and we both agreed so much of what we do is about control and "headspace". When using pain in play, we all have different thresholds, and there is ususally a wearing down proccess. Also, the submissive can often "go within" and deal with the physical pain mentally on her own terms. With tickling, you're either ticklish or not, there is no wearing down! It just becomes a matter of degree and intensity with no control, since the overstimulation is kind of short-circuiting the nervous system. You can't 'go within' because you can't concentrate through such endless stimulation. But done right, both types of play can end with such amazing opiate calmness and "sedateness" with all the endorphins flowing, being pumped through the body at adrenaline speed .

It looks too intense for some to be sure, but for others, truly amazing. I would never wish actual cruelty on Andie, but if she's willing, and she gets though it okay, as a reaction junkie too, this looks incredible.
