500th Post!!!!!!!

OK, I realized this was gonna be my 500th post; and I thought I'd do something to commemorate it. So I decided to draw a little something I have wanted to draw for a while :super_hap

As a lot of you already know, I'm kind of color challenged, therefore, I didn't even try on this one, if anyone would like to try coloring it please feel free to do it. 🙂

Naturally, I love it. Jasmine looks quite gorgeous, and dead on perfect! Nice work with the rendering. Ariel looks smashing as well, I love her happy laugh expression. You always do a great job with expressions!

Speaking of trademark J skillz - LOOOOOOOVE the hair on both of them. That has always been a strength of yours - and I think you are getting even better at it!

Overall - loved the whole scenario. And who ever said you were color challenged?? I think your color pics are totally great!!

Thank you my friend! I've always had a thing for Disney princesses, and I wanted to get them right, hope it's close enough to their original artwork :super_hap I do like the theme, so I just might do another one on it, maybe post a poll, see which Disney princess most people want to see tickled 😉

How 'bout a poll within a poll? As men of taste, we've agreed on Aurora, but we've yet to discuss the costume. I vote for her Briar Rose outfit. LBH's will be done in the end, I suspect, but I just wanted to proclaim my preference. 🙂

Heavens! Thanks so much, Janus! I didn't intend to deprive everyone else of a vote (however, I am prepared to stretch my ethics for the sake of sweet Aurora!) The basic, unpretentious Briar Rose costume sounds good to me, too... that's the way I remember her best, in a bucolic setting, surrounded by her animal pals. Below are as many reference pictures as I was able to scrounge up... not many (and some not that good), but I hope they'll be adequate for your need.

As to scenario... how about something playful! Rose (Aurora) could be in for a spell of teasing from her nature friends (many of them birds), with special attention to the feet (happily she's barefoot almost all the time as Briar Rose). These critters can be seen in at least one of the provided pictures... if you need more, I'll see what else I can find.

Once again, my grateful thanks, Janus! I look forward to the result, and I promise to be patient... your quality work is well worth waiting for!
