60th anniversity of the end of the second world war

Just a reminder to you gang that this month is the 60th anniversity of the end of the second world war. What really saddens me is the fact that more people have died since then in wars than died in both world wars. So what have we learned? Not much I'm afraid.

My Deceased Father "celebrated" His 19th Birthday On A Troop Ship On The Way To Invade North Africa In 1942. I Owe A Tremendous Debt Of Gratitude To All Who Have Served In The Armed Forces. The Sacrifice Of The Few For The Many Is A Humbling Thought, Especially Those That Gave And Are Now Giving Their Lives.

60 years from the fall of such mad regime, but still some people worship it. Let this be a testament to their folly, and that such a thing as nacism never happens again!

This is also a 10th year anniversary of the end of the Croato-Serbian war, so I'm having a double anniversary.
