A birthday gift...

...to myself. Again.

Just a normal birthday for Khali here, fun, food, presents, cake, fights...the usual Khali-bday fare.

"Say, what a big present...I wonder what's inside?"

And upon opening it...Khali gets quite a surprise. I wonder who could be responsible for giving such a tent-a-tickle as a gift to me.

Ah well, at least I'm apparently enjoying being tied up and tickled by whatever the beastie in the box is. 😉

Someone really knows where to shop! I'd thought of gifting a few of those one-eyed octopi myself, but the price seemed extravagant... I now see they're worth every penny! A well executed "entanglement" picture, with visual pandemonium nicely harmonized as limbs (human and inhuman) fly in every which direction, yet never look disordered. It brings to mind classic Roman Laocoön sculpture... fortunately, this resolution is far happier!

Oddly enough I'd give myself such a gift if I had it. 😛 I thought that "To Khali" sign was a piece of pizza for a second there; goes to show the difference between maximized view and scrunched-to-fit. Now I'm hungry. XD While Khali sometimes seems to sport, how to say, well used clothes they seem particularly ragged here. I suspect she's been menaced for some time, poor dear. The tag came out worse than I wanted, apparently. I probably should've changed the shape or made it fancier or such. As for the clothes, well, yeah, I think they're a little more well worn out here due to all the limbs going everywhere. 😉
