So this isnt to do with tickling, but this seemed to fit better in the forum rather than the general forum.

So I was play a game with my brother online on my PS3 on Christmas Eve, with his wife just watching us play.
After a few rounds of play, some guy comes into our group with the screen name "Footjob_Bandit" or something really close to that.
Having a foot fetish, I found this really uncomfortable since it was in plain view of my brother and his wife. The whole time we were playing I was expecting them to comment on the name and start cracking jokes about people who are into that.
I could be wrong, but I think its things like that which make us foot fetishists look weird or all around creepy.
Has anyone else had a moment like that?

Just someone who is open with what they like. Sure it is a strange for PS3, but apparently they don't care.

All you can do is shake your head and laugh. Foot Fetishists are already thought creepy and weird by the general public anyway. Accept that you like it, and enjoy other people being open about it.

I don't mind advertising it.....but there's a time and a place. I love bringing it up when the conversation turns to sex or what my preferences are. As for a screen name...no..not my style. My fetish doesn't define me and is only a facet of my being. So even on a fetish site like this you won't find me using a name like that.

As for your initial question, yes. Many women finnd it pretty funny when they hear about another foot fetishist besides myself...the unfortunate part is that usually what they hear is some guy stealing shoes or doing some perverted act. But this has no bearing on myself or my relationships so it's no biggie.

When I was a kid I used to get highly embarressed by any references to tickling on the TV and have to leave the room. I'm sure that reaction was much more likely to display some sort of propensity for tickling than just apparently ignoring it altogether. Nowadays I try to just not bat an eylid if it happens, although I'm tending towards just saying "sod it" and letting anyone know. When I finally plucked up the courage to tell a girlfriend I was actually a little underwhlemed by her response of not even appearing the least bit shocked by it - and willing to participate with no further encouragement whatsoever!
If anyone here is feeling a little bit torn as to whether to tell their significant other about their fetish then I say just fucking do it! Don't make the same mistake I did, trying to hide it through a 5 year marriage. If you're in a relationship the chances are your partner relishes the thought of turning you on - and tickling is pretty damn inoffensive in the grand scheme of things.
