A certain scene

Can anybody tell me if I just dreamed this up or if it really existed. I recall as a child, many years ago, maybe more years than I want to admit, that I saw a scene of a family which were living a new house, I almost believe a house of the future, where the device to wake up junior in his room was a door opened at the end of the bed and two gloved hands came out and tickled his feet. By the way, the parents style of waking up was that their beds would shake back and forth. Can anyone remember if this was in a movie or a tv show? Like to know.

no immediate recollection - although i do remember an episode of Dennis the Menace where he was woken up by the vines from the beanstalk (it was a jack & the beanstalk episode) tickling his bare foot and he thought it was gnasher licking him. he was very ticklish!
