I dunno if this has been mentioned on the forum anywhere else or not but i've been noticing quite of few people having trouble in the video clip and splits section with video and audio codecs.....there's a codec pack called "Ace Mega Codecs Pack" that you can search for on google that has just about every codec you will ever need. Just thought this might be helpful to some of you...

I dont know a whole lot about these things but I memember reading that these codec mega-packs bog down your players with a million codecs you dont actually need causeing them to load slowly or bogging down your computer....or something.

I personally like the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, and to date it hasn't bogged down my computer in any appreciable way (Norton does that well enough. 😛), although I DID remove its support for Windows Media when installing it. WMP is the only major media player I can stand.

well that particular one i've had for a while and it doesn't bog my stuff down it lets you choose what you want to install and so on its a really good one....i haven't tried the K lite one i might have to check it out on my next format

I recommend the K-Lite Basic codec pack to everyone because it includes everything you need to play Divx-encoded videos, but without a lot of clutter.
