The Hulk VS. Jean Grey. Who'd win?

Is Jean in a Phoenix state of mind? If so, I'd bet on her, otherwise, in normal mode the Hulk. Q

Yeah, I think that unless Jean Grey was possessed by the Phoenix (the Phoenix entity destroyed entire galaxies after all, I believe), then she would lose, as Hulk's mind is filled with just too much raw emotion to be affected by her telepathy, IMO.

Jean Grey after the first couple of comic book series, since thats when she's not in Pheonix state but still at a well developed level....Hulk no Smash when Hulk 10ft in Air....

Quite right. Most of you seem to have forgotten that Jean has telekinetic powers too. Plus, the Hulk may be Godly strong, but he's not exactly the fastest thing in the Marvel Universe (Although he has good agility for his size, its mostly because of his powerful leg muscles). Still, I think at most it would be a stale-mate. Jean could avoid being splatted by the Hulk, but she wouldn't be able to beat him. The madder he gets, the stronger he gets, so throwing him at rocks and stuff wouldn't work.

So in conclusion--I think the fight would end when SHIELD arrives and throws jets at the Hulk XD

Actually, the Hulk is pretty fast and can jump hella long distances. I know Jean has telekinesis too, but she never seems to use that power on all the major baddies really.

Regardless, even though Apocalypse is dead now, he'd still whoop everyone, including the Hulk. 🙂

Seriously though, the Hulk's ability to get from state to state just by JUMPING is due to his strength, not his agility. It says so in the RPG guide for the Marvel Universe, and somewhere at the start of one of the comics I believe ^^x;

Has its limitations. I see the Hulk straining either downward or towards a nearby object, with ever increasing strength against a finite limit from Jean Grey. Any object within his grasp becomes a lethal missile, forcing her attention off the levitation process. Handclaps of his have had devastating effect in the past as well, which raising him in the air cetrtainly won't prevent. Looks like a clearcut victory in nonPhoenix state... Q

I still think the Hulk is pretty fast, regardless of his size and strength. Obviously not in the range of Quicksilver or Flash from DC, but still up there. And I'm not just basing this opinion on the movie coming out soon. Besides, I think the sheer mental load/pressure of trying to hold the Hulk in place would make Jean pass out or collapse.

Telekenisis has the ability to stop not a single body in itself, but all of its component parts too. In plain English that means that, if Moss Grey so wished, she could simply stop Hulk from moving...full stop. So to revise the previous conclusion; Hulk no smah when Hulk no move....

I guess in a "first strike" situation she could try to cut off all the arteries blood flow to the brain and obviously, if successful, kill an opponent in that manner. Not sure if she could utilize that fine control, or if she could remain hidden long enough, but it's an interesting scenario. Q
