The man who used to be known as Ross C, was again tied to a bed, and was once again being tortured, by his seeming captor forever ""Nails"

"Nails" tortured Ross through tickling, teasing, putting him to the point where he would get a huge erection, and then leaving him alone until it would go down.
"Please, please let me go. I will get you anything. I cant take any more of this. I just want Kayley. Please ask Kayley to come rescue me" Ross begged.
"Kayley is long , long gone, Ross. She is with another man. A nice, strong, kind teacher, who is normal, like herself, and not an obsessed maniac taking chances like you do. This man always tells her the truth, always considers her, and always treats her kindly. She is happy as anything with him, and she is never coming back. You are with me forever. This is your punishment for all of the times you hurt Kayley, and told her lies which upset and hurt her. I' m the only one you will ever be with again, forever! " Nails said with an evil laugh.
"Okay then if that is true, let me give you money. Please just let me get you money, so that I can find somewhere, anywhere to go, to be away from you" Ross pleaded.
"Money? You have no money, Ross. You lost all of your money, with your reckless behavior. You do not have anything. You do not have Kayley, and you do not have money. Kayley will not save you, and money will not save you. I am your lesson, forever! " Nails said evily.
Ross screamed at the top if his lungs. "Nails , please let me go! Please! Please! Please!" Ross pleaded.
Suddenly, Ross was being shaken, and he woke up, and saw a different woman, a brown haired woman, and he was in a bed.
"Ross, why were you screaming in the middle of the night? What's the matter?!" The woman said.
"Who? Who are you?" Ross asked, as his voice was shaking
"I'm your wife, Kayley. Your wife of over 20 years. I'm Kayley" The woman said.
"Where is Nails? Where is that woman who was constantly torturing me?" Ross asked, his voice shaking like a leaf.
"Who is Nails? There is no one named Nails, Ross. You've never called me that. I dont know what you're talking about" Kayley said.
Ross hugged Kayley for dear life. "Oh My God, Kayley. Thank God you're here. Thank You for saving me from Nails. Thank You for being my wife" Ross said.
"Ross, you were having a nightmare. It was a terrible nightmare. There is no one named Nails here. No one named Nails will ever torture you" Kayley said, trying to get Ross to lie down, and holding him.
Ross was still breathing heavy. As Kayley was holding Ross, Ross asked.
" Kayley, did Nails take all of our money? Did we not have money to give her ransom if she wanted it?"'
"Ross, you're a multimillionaire marketing mogul. We have millions of dollars. You've made some poor business choices, and very hurtful choices in our marriage, but we have millions of dollars" Kayley said.
Then Kayley continued. "Maybe we should take you to the doctor tomorrow. This nightmare seems to have freaked you out. See how you feel in the morning, and if you don't feel better, I will call in sick to work, and you just dont go into the office tomorrow" Kayley said.
"Call in sick? I cant call in sick. I will lose my job" Ross said.
"Ross, you cant lose your job. You own the company. Who's going to fire you? Its highly unlikely that a client will drop you if you dont go into the office on one day" Kayley saod.
Kayley cuddled Ross and began kissing him.
"Kayley, what has been going on with us lately? What would cause me to have such a horrible nightmare?" Ross asked.
Kayley sighed. "I almost dont want to tell you , things have been so crazy. Calmly, this is what has been happening. You sold your company last year, started a new one, then got your old company back from the guy that took your old one when he went bankrupt. You got rid of one office, moved into a smaller one, and now you are expanding your office because you got many clients back that you lost from the guy that tricked you into selling him your old company. Things have been.. very chaotic. "Kayley said.
"It sounds like my life is crazy" Ross said.
"Ross, I know you love business, and your work. I respect that you work so hard. You have calmed down with your work lately, except for a few slipups. We had some very difficult times in our marriage. Last year you made me so furious, that I almost left you. You've been better to me lately. We really love each other. I think you still need to, take it easy, and go with the flow" Kayley said.
Ksyley got Ross to lie down. "Sweetie, please relax and go to sleep. You really need to rest. Tomorrow morning, if you are not awake,. I will call into your office and tell them you are sick, and not coming in, and I will call in sick myself. "
Kayley held Ross, and he drifted off to sleep after a long time.
The next morning, Ross opened his eyes at about 8 am. Kayley was half asleep next to him. "I called in sick. I'm not going to let you go into the office today, not after what happened last night. The only place you are going is the doctor with me, later. I'm going to sit here with you until you call him" Kayley said.
At 9 am, Kayley took Ross's cell phone, and hit the office number. "Vic, this is Kayley. Ross was very sick during the night. I'm going to take him to the doctor. I'm going to let his cell phone and the home office machine take all of his calls. If anyone calls on the office phone, please just tell them that Ross is too ill to talk, and will hopefully be in tomorrow" Kayley said.
"Of course Kayley, I'm sorry to hear that Ross is so sick. Please tell Ross I hope that he feels better" Vic said.
Kayley then called the doctor. "Doctor B , this is Kayley C. My husband was very sick during the night. He really needs to see you today as soon as you can. I'm coming with him. I hope you can see us within the next few hours. It really is an emergency" Kayley said.
"Of course, Kayley. Please bring Ross in at noon" The Doctor said.
"Thank You. We will be there at noon" Kayley said.
Kayley hung up the phone. "Noon. No tricks or canceling. You have to go. Something must really be going on with you emotionally if you had such a nightmare. " Kayley said.
Ross nodded his head weakly. "Yes, Kayley ."
At noon, Ross and Kayley entered Dr B's office.
"Doctor B. Ross had a terrible nightmare last night. He woke up screaming, and said he had a nightmare about a vicious woman named Nails holding him captive, and torturing him. He did not remember who I was when he first saw me., Its almost like, his life as it is, did not exist" Kayley said.
Doctor B folded his arms. "Is what Kayley told me true, Ross?"
Ross nodded his head weakly.
"Okay, let me take your BP, and blood, and some breathing tests. We will see what this is. I will do what I can as always to help, and I will recommend a specialist if you need to see someone" Doctor B said.
Doctor B checked Ross's BP, which was high, and took blood. Doctor B also did a breathing test, and Ross said he felt short of breath. Ross told Doctor B that Ross did not have chest pains. Yet, something was not right.
"Ross, I know about you selling your old company, and being tricked. I also know about you getting your old company back and expanding when you got many accounts back. It seems like a lot has been going on with you lately" Doctor B said.
"You have no idea how much has been going on , Doctor" Kayley said.
"Ross, go home, and rest today. I'm going to put you on a calming med to calm your nerves. See how you feel tomorrow, and if you're better, you can go into the office, but please, take it easy. I don't want you to work any long hours, or beat yourself up. Take the med, and call me in a week, or before if you feel sick or have any symptoms" The Doctor said.
"Thank You, Doctor. I will make sure he does" Kayley said.
Ross and Kayley rode home in silence. When they got home, Kayley helped Ross into the bedroom, helped him undress, and tried to put him in bed.
Suddenly Ross blurted out.
"Kayley, do I like feet? I just noticed you have really pretty feet. " Ross said.
Kayley chuckled. "Now you're starting to remember. Yes, Ross, you have a foot fetish. Its fine, though. You've played with my feet many times" Kayley said.
"Do I have a pet name for you?" Ross said.
"Usually, you call me Kale. Sometimes honey, but mostly your pet name for me is Kale" Kayley said.
Ross and Kayley went through the next day,. Ross, who was usually, chatty, was very quiet. They ate dinner, and went into bed early.
"I'm just going to hold you. No sex for now. You are not up to it. Let;s just say that you are not feeling well,. and we cant have sex until you're better, okay?" Kayley said.
Ross nodded his head. "Okay. Thank You again for being so kind" Ross said.
"No thanks needed. I'm your wife. I'm supposed to be that way"Kayley said, kissing Ross goodnight.
The next morning, Ross opened his eyes,. and saw Kayley getting dressed. :Good Morning, how did you sleep and how do you feel?" Kayley asked.
"I slept okay. I feel a bit out of it. " Ross said.
"You can go into the office. You probably should go with me not here so you can be around other people. I just want you to take it easy. No major moves, and no making any business trips. The other night was maybe a lesson to you. I want you to get back to health. Just sit there, and figure it all out" Kayley said.
Ross left for the office in an Uber at 830, getting in at 930
"Ross,. glad to see you. How do you feel?" Victor asked.
"I'm tired. I just decided to come in because I did not want to sit in the apartment with Kayley at work all day. I'm here, but yet, I just want to sit and do paper work. Is everything I'm supposed to do done yet? Ross said.
"The monthly campaign work is done. You were talking about going to Oklahoma, but it does not sound like you should do that with how you are feeling. Maybe you should call Mister P and tell him" Vic said.
"I will call him now. My Doctor told me to take it easy. I will explain to him and see what has to be done" Ross said.
Ross dialed Fritz's number on his office line. "Ross, buddy, how are you feeling?" Fritz asked.
"I was very sick the night before last. Kayley took me to the doctor, and he advised me to stay here. I heard something about my coming down there, but I cant now. Please just make whatever decisions you want, and I can hire someone who knows about the business, and give that person temporary power of attorney through my lawyer. If I dont take what just happened to me seriously, I am going to be in trouble" Ross said.
"Of course, my friend. Your health comes first. Steve and me might have figured a way to get that oil cleanup firm out of our lives. A lawyer Steve found said they can't force us to sell. He might be able to negotiate a settlement for not that much money. It turns out they have a history of doing these things, and a judge might rule against them if we sue them. It might not be as bad as it sounded" Fritz said.
"That sounds good. Thanks. Let me figure out someone who can represent me, or we can just talk on the phone as long as I dont have to travel. I better stay here, just come into the office, and get back to myself" Ross said.
"Thats fine, feel better" Fritz said.
That day, Ross talked to Tim Patrick, Dave Banner, and Larry, and told them he had been very sick, and advised to take it easy. Ross promised he would hire additional temporary staff who knew the business with the expanded office, in case Ross did not feel well, and Ross would just oversee things.
Perhaps, the frightening incident had caused Ross to learn a lesson.
At 4, Ross called an Uber, and left the office.
"I want to go home. I feel very out of it. I will be in tomorrow, but I may have to see a doctor or two:" Ross said.
"Okay, feel better, and take it easy" Victor said to Ross.
Ross rode home in the Uber in silence, and unlocked the door. Kayley was in the living room. She went over to Ross, and gave him a kiss.
"How do you feel? How was your day?" Kayley said.
"I feel weak and out of it. I called Mister P and told him I cant travel. He said that Steve told him that this firm who is trying to force us to sell the company, has done this before with takeovers, and we might be able to legally get them out of our hair I told him that I cannot obsess over it, and would hire a lawyer to take care of it. I know that the other night was a lesson. I'm sorry all that happened" Ross said.
"Please stop saying I'm sorry. People get sick, and people make mistakes. You have changed a lot since you sold your old company. We are much better than we used to be. Now, most important, you have to learn how to take care of yourself, and not wind yourself up about every business thing that happens" Kayley said.
"Believe me, after the other night with Nails, I will not do that. I just Thank God that Nails was not my real partner, and that you are" Ross said to Kayley .
"Ross, please try to put Nails out of your mind. I know it freaked you out, but it was not real. I am your real wife, and always will be until the day one of us dies. That hopefully will not be for a long, long time from now. We have a lot of things to do together first" Kayley said.

"Its okay, we can just kiss, and not have sex. Maybe that is what you need for now. If so, that is what I will give you" Kayley said.

"You have toid me many times in 20 years. I know you love me, and much of what you do is you not thinking, and being obsessed with work. If I did not know you loved me, I would have left you a long time ago" Kayley said.

"It is not in my plans. You were treating me much better than you used to even before this nightmare. Just keep making me feel like our marriage and me are top priority, and you have nothing to worry about in regard to me leaving" Kayley said.
