The Phil of the Future story

Here is that Phil of the Future story. I titled it Phil's time to laugh. It's my first posted story so be kind.

Phil's time to Laugh


It’s an average afternoon at H.G. Wells High. Phil and Keely are now seniors and are in gym class. The boys are out in the field playing baseball while the girls are playing tennis nearby. Phil is up to bat and Tucker is pitching to him. Tucker throws the pitch and Phil hits it farther then anyone in school history. Coach Savage goes nuts and says “Diffy that was incredible! I need someone like you on the Eagles.” Phil is excited that one of his future skills has gotten him on the school baseball team and now he won’t be the oddball anymore. He looks over at Keely she smiles at him and gives him a thumb up. Later that day they are having lunch and talking. Keely says” Phil I’m so happy for you. But I have to ask you a question. Did you use the whizzer to help you?” Phil says” No way! That was all 22nd century skill. I was playing a game like that when I was 5 years old.” Keely says” Your going to do great.” They finish lunch and head for their next class. The next day Phil gets his uniform which consist of a royal blue jersey trimmed in yellow with the word Eagles on the front, black sliding pants that stop at the top of his calves, sheer royal blue sanitary baseball socks, and black cleats. The first thing he does is to go see Keely and show her his uniform. She tells him that he looks so cute. A few weeks go by and she comes to regret Phil being on the baseball team. Since he had baseball practice and games now they couldn’t spend as much time together as they once did. She hadn’t seen Phil in a whole month and he even misses her 18th birthday that was on Wednesday. She was really hurt because he didn’t even give her a call. So she stopped by his house the Friday after her birthday. It was about 5:00. Keely decided to wait until after school hoping that he is home so they could talk. She rings the doorbell and Pim who is home alone because their parents are out of town looking for parts for the time machine opens the door and lets Keely in and says with smirk on her face “Sorry Blondie! Your boyfriend had a game today and isn’t here. But he will be home around 8:00 tonight.” Keely says with embarrassment in her voice “Phil is not my boyfriend! And I know he had a game today I just wanted to come over and talk to you.” Pim says “Whatever!” Then goes into the den, lies down on the couch, puts her feet up on the armrest and turns on the television. Keely sits down in the recliner on Pim’s right and watches with her. While they’re watching Keely is really frustrated and says to Pim who looks annoyed “I’m actually hurt that Phil forgot my birthday yesterday. He’s my best friend. How could he forget my birthday? I wish I had a way to get him back for forgetting about it.” Pim thinks for a minute then gets a huge smile on her face. Then she says “You know Keely, Phil who has a phobia about being tickled on his feet. His feet are so ticklish that he can’t stand for them to be touched. I still some times sneak into his room and tickle him in his sleep when he really annoys me. And the best part about it is if I do it right I can tickle him all night without waking him up.” Hearing this about Phil Keely gives her an idea on how to teach Phil a lesson for neglecting her. Then she says “I just remember that I left something in Phil’s room. Can I go and get it?” Pim says “Go ahead!” Keely goes up to Phil’s room and looks in his closet. Keely goes thru his future gadgets and finds his whizzer. She remembers that Phil taught everything that it can do, puts it in her pocket, and is about to go back downstairs when she hears Phil comes home. Keely peeks down the stairs and sees Phil talking to Pim. He looks so cute in his uniform and wearing his black Puma speed cats. Keely hears him asking Pim why she is just lying there on the couch watching television when she should be doing her homework. Pim says “I’ll do it later when I go over to Danny’s house. But a better question is “why are you home so early? Its only 5:30. Did you get kicked off the team?” Phil says “No I didn’t! The other team forfeited. I’m glad because I have a lot of homework to do and I’m really tired.” Pim says “That’s great! But now I have to go and meet Danny. Have fun Phil.” Phil just shakes his head and starts walking up to his room. Keely goes back into Phil’s room, hides in his closet and leaves the doors cracked. When Phil comes into the room he puts his book bag on the floor next to his desk. Then he walks over and sits down on the foot of his bed. Keely thinks “Ok this is my chance.” Then she points the whizzer at his bed, zaps it causing Phil to sink backwards into bed until it tightly closes around him. Phil tries to get out but he’s surrounded by his mattress and box spring. He can’t even move a muscle because he is completely trapped by his pillows and blankets which are tightly packing him in. the only part of his body sticking out are his feet. Phil has sunk to the point where only his shoes are showing which he can barely move. Phil is confused and a little scared. He can breathe fine but he’s completely helpless. He calls for help then realizes that he’s all alone. Keely sits down on the bed next to his feet. Phil feels her weight shifting on the bed. Phil asks “Is someone there?” Keely doesn’t answer. With a wicked smile she thinks “Now that I have you where I want you. Its time I get my present from you since you missed my birthday!” Then she reaches out and slowly unties the laces of both his shoes then takes his shoes off and put them on the floor. Phil who is really nervous and feeling vulnerable says Hey! What’s going on? Why did you take off my shoes? Pim is that you?” When he doesn’t get an answer Phil tries again to get free but the pillows and blankets surrounding him are packed in too snug and tight. Then he says “Ok! Whoever you are I know you’re there. This isn’t funny. I’m stuck here and can’t get out.” Keely quietly sit there looking at Phil’s blue-clad feet as he curls his toes and flexes his feet. His socks hung his feet like a second skin and they’re so sheer that she can see the lines in his feet. Keely uses her finger and gently touches the ball of his right foot to see if his feet are as ticklish as Pim said. Phil’s foot jerks his toes curl and he starts laughing. Phil with laughter and panic in his voice says “What are you doing! Don’t touch my feet! I can’t stand to my feet touched! They’re way too ticklish.” Keely ignores him then alternates sliding her fingers slowly up and down his feet. In no time she has Phil laughing his head off. She tickles him for 10 minutes and then stops to give Phil a break. When he can speak again Phil says “Please no more! I beg you to have mercy!” Keely smiles and thinks “Sorry Phil. But I’m having too much fun.” Then she uses his whizzer to make a long semi-rigid black feather with a pointed tip. She takes the feather and uses the tip to tickle Phil’s toes. Phil starts to laugh and beg for the tickling to stop. Then she tickles the balls of his feet and his arches. Phil starts to laugh hysterically as she starts to alternate sliding the tip of the feather up and down the sole of his feet. Keely tickles Phil for 20 minutes and then decides that he’s had enough. She gets up off the bed, quietly leaves Phil’s room, wait for 5 minutes. Then pretends that she heard him call for help and comes back into the room and says “Oh Phil! What happened?” Phil says “Keely Help me! I’m stuck get my whizzer. Keely pretends to get the whizzer and frees Phil. When he’s free Phil tells Keely everything that happened to him. Keely says “Oh Phil! That’s terrible! I wish that I got here sooner. Phil says “Thanks Keely. And by the way I’m sorry for missing you birthday. But I can still give you your present.” Then Phil walks up to her looks her in the eyes and gives Keely a passionate kiss on the lips. Keely is speechless and says “Oh Phil! And starts to feel bad about what she did to him. Then she realized how much fun she had and thinks “I have to tickle him again soon.”
