A politician with integity.....who would have ever guessed?

Who would have ever guessed that a politician has an ounce of decency and integrity?

I would not have, before.

It was reported that during the Texas Govoner race, Rick Perry **returned** a $100,000 donation, after he learned it was sent by the Knights of White Brotherhood (a KKK chapter).

I never thought any politican would ever return any donation, regardless of where it came from.

I am glad to see there is at least 1 politician that has some integerity and honor.

Not bad, Mr. Perry, but that WAS the KKK, so that's to be expected. Now if he'd return the rest of the money from special-interest groups...oh wait, then he'd be left with nothing. 😛 Nevertheless, I applaud his actions. Perhaps politicians aren't ALWAYS evil... 😀

I dunno. Call me cynical, but I never thought any politician would return any donation, regardless of the strings attached or what the contrubitors were sponsering.

I always thought if the politicians got money from dubious sources, they would just do what the military does. "Don't ask. Don't tell".

Okay, you're cynical. Welcome to the brotherhood. As you likely figure, we don't have meetings. None of us believe there's any point in 'em. 😉

Politicians that give back money... Not sure it's really integrity, but the action, by any description, is trippy as hell. Would get my attention, that's for sure.
