A question for all the Roleplayers out there...

For those of you who may or may not know, one of the projects me and writer MirthGoblin have been working on is a series of illustrated erotic tickling stories set in a high fantasy setting called “Mytheroptera”. The amount of work we put into core material for the series is beyond what we thought we good accomplish with a full world map, details on countless species, magic, monsters, etc…which is why we came up with a rather interesting idea.

As a way to promote the series, we’ve been considering opening a forum and adapting the series into an actual forum based Role Playing system. Within said forum will include:

- Detailed info on stats on the various playable races, NPC races and monsters

- An open but fair rule system mapping out the use of classes and stats and rules for magic and special items.

- A fully encompassing world map with information on the various settlements, cities, villages and towns.

- Separate forums for “regular” Roleplay along with soft core fetish content and an “adults only” section for more risqué’ content.

- The creation and submission of fan made races, magics, and other homebrewed content will be encouraged and considered for use by the powers that be (me or Mirth)

- Along with free-form roleplaying, GM guided campaigns will also be permitted including campaign concepts submitted and run by myself or Mirth that will take players deep into the core back story of the land of Mytheroptera.

- The freedom to convert over content from existing roleplaying system such as Dungeons and Dragons, White Wolf, Warhammer, GURPS, etc. (our discretion)

- And everything (if desired) will have an overall tickling theme along with the various fetishes that may be associated with it (within reason of course, you’d have to run ideas past us first)

So the question for all of you is…would this interest any of you? 😉

See, there was one of these quite some time ago. 04 if I recall. I remember there being perhaps one maybe two girls in the thing. The game struck me as being incredibly negative; that is to say, the players were not... hm. It was not a pleasant experience, and I don't wish to have that occur again.

So I personally don't think it would work and would recommend not going for it. At the very least, keep what I said in mind; had an absolutely horrible experience with that thing. If you do go with it... well, good luck. Please do be open minded/kind if you do.

The players really make these kind of games. I've done it with non-tickling stuff before, and it'll fall apart if:

People lose interest.
Real life keeps people from playing frequently
Someone "loses"

That being said, I've played games I wish never ended just because everyone involved is so awesome and the story takes a wonderfully awesome direction. 😀

I'd be interested in testing the waters out. :3

I've, since last night, augmented my opinion. Go for it. Forums could use some life.

I'd be down for a not so tickling oriented one, but I think I'll stay away from a more sexual type of game. I still feel the two don't mix entirely well.
